Mr. Masters (Mr. Series Book 1)

Enjoyed it throughly. I just loved Bree, carefree like a bird and yet so emotional. Julian was of course a complicated man but then he had his own reason. Overall a good read.

I have recently read most of the novels of this writer...and there is a pattern found where I see most of her female characters are not justified....they don't stand up as actively as needed to the abusive or comprising behaviour of the strong , cocky male characters.While I know these novels are a work of fiction, and being an acclaimed writer as you are...it's your responsibility to make ferocious and strong female characters.We are living in a times where there is a huge change of behaviour towards women in society.And as a part of society and seeing so many women and men look up to your writing..it's your duty to embibe and thoughts that inculcate equality ,feminism and not sexuality..So please write your work consciously because this is what we all learn from.Utterly disgusted with this book.How come a woman loose all her sanity..and be as submissive...I mean there is a level to tolerance ..she is off limits guyzzz...how can she not see the guy doesn't worship the ground she walks on....I mean really...when it comes to sex and monogamy ,he never fail to remind her that he owns her...but when it comes to labelling the relationship..he always backs offf. What kind of spineless person he is...let's give him a benefit of doubt that he has a troubled past ....but you can't be pimp enough to hold a person ..when all you give them is nothing but humiliation nad unhappiness.

Totally worth the time...you will not atleast regret reading it..both the main characters are very appealing...it will make you grumpy, laugh and serious ❣️

T L Swam seems to follow a formula.. rich guy with big d*** with 15-18 bn dollar business . Some sentences in the love making scenes were also similar to other books. Did not like the crude language used by Bree in front of kids. She just can’t keep her cool and flies of the handle. Also, repetition of the scenes in conversations with Emerson and Julian’s friends gets boring (after all we have read them already). No wonder the book is so long

An amazing book that is super sexy, romantic, with angst galore that has you turning the pages well into the night. The chemistry; the push and pull was just off the scales magnetic, the anticipation was everything in this book.Judge Julian Masters is a gorgeous sexy damaged man, widowed with two beautiful children that need a new nanny so he hires Bree who is on a year long work visa from Australia. Their charisma is a slow build at the start but then it rockets sky high in all sorts of ways from arguments to heated sexual attraction, to bickering and funny episodes that had me laughing out loud. Judge masters is one hot dirty talking man but he is also closed off and acts cold towards Bree at first. I loved the way this book explored their relationship with his children, with each other and with themselves.I absolutely loved Bree, she was funny, strong sexy and knew her own mind and fought for everything she believed in.Julian was WOW. Hot, sad, lonely, a distant parent; he frustrated the hell out of me at times but as his heart unraveled we see a different Julian that I just adored.This book is everything and more. It's romantic, sad, angsty, frustrating, addictive, funny and sweet and the sex scene's were incredibly hot !!All in all a phenomenal read.The first time I ever read this author she gave me Dr Stanton and I totally fell in love, not sure anyone can come close to that man but lets just say that Judge Masters can take me to room 612 rosewood anytime he chooses (swoon ) !!!!

Right, is this book steamy? It's me, of course it is. However, I can hands down say that even if this book wasn't steamy (and the same goes for the other TL Swans I have read) I would still read it. It was absolutely brilliant and I know Becky agrees with me.The relationship between Julian and Bree was amazing. This isn't your cliche "nanny falls in love with the boss" story. Yes she's the nanny and yes he's her boss but it was so much more than that. This book deals with bereavement, finding yourself, letting down your guard, friendship, sexuality and so much more and it is all exquisitely written from the steamy moments to the serious ones.I loved Julian he's curt and he's grumpy but has deep wounds. The bubbly outspoken, free spirited Bree was just the person to heal them. Her relationship with Julian was just perfect. But the relationships she formed with his children was an absolute joy to read, as was Julians friendship with Spencer and Sebastian - their banter had me howling.I am on a one woman mission (and not doing to shabby) to own everything TL Swan has written. Her writing has an incredible knack of just sucking you in, I love the side characters, I love the humour and I love how every book leaves me feeling - there is so much more I want to say but space is not my friend. So to the rest of "The Misters" I'm coming for you!!

I came to ms Swan through the reviews I read on the "Miles high" series. I have started with the second book "The Takeover", which appealed to me more than the first book. I am reading the third book next, but detoured to Mr Masters because of the chapter at the end of the "Takeover". She appears to like to create issues for the characters, especially with age gaps, which really to any sensible adult reader would not be considered an issue. Also I was concerned with the use of language. Mr Masters discovers his daughter has been arrested for following his girlfriend into a gay club, and when discussing it with her he says "if I found out you were in a NORMAL club I would have reacted the same!!!" Oh dear, my gay friends would be rather offended! I did rather enjoy the sex sessions, especially the oral sex descriptions, so much so I had to keep having a little break! I am looking forward to book 3 on the Miles brothers now. On the whole I would say intelligently written, especially in comparison with a lot of writers in this genre.

brielle is honestly so funny, i wish she was real and was my friend😂 some of the stuff she comes out with is hilarious! i didn’t used to like an age-gap romance at all but now i’m all for it!! WHAT ARE THESE SPICY BOOKS DOING TO ME🙊 after reading a bit about julian & brielle in find me alastar i was so intrigued about them! had to read this!! julian masters is hot, even if he is a little old🤪😮‍💨🔥 he’s also quite a broken man and my heart hurt for him and his kids, bree was just what they all needed🥺 i also would like julian to give me a credit card with no spend limit and to tell me i can use it for whatever i need🥲 god i love frances (julian’s mother), sometimes mum’s in books are a little annoying but she’s the best😂 tbh julian’s dad is alright too😂 julian is like the ultimate grumpy man😮‍💨 but he’s also very very broken🥺 a fix he has to overcome on his own. i love spencer & seb, can’t wait to also read about them😍 they’re both hilarious, i love the banter they have as a little trio! WHY DID I TEAR UP AT THIS BOOK🥲🥲 okay i’m in love with julian masters too, i admit it, like i couldn’t help it🥺🥲 why is sammy the cutest little boy ever i just can’t🥲 the epilogue was just the sweetest thing ever, my heart feels so full after reading that🥰

Completely and utterly hooked. Mr Masters was smoking hot, his point of view was just perfection. Seeing how he portrayed himself vs his thoughts were super interesting. I loved seeing them grow as a family and help his kids alongside their relationship. The smut in this was incredible - Julian & Bree had incredible Chemistry - and I just couldn't get enough. I read this a second time and it was just as good - I have also listened to this on Audible and narrator Shane East has the sexiest voice. Highly recommend listening!
