I have other Germanikure products, from single clippers in a variety of sizes to multi-piece sets. I've only had one problem ever, and the company made it right quickly, without question or hassles. When I was looking to get a set of nail clippers to keep at my desk, I went straight to Germanikure and I chose this one because I thought the pale blue color was pretty-- and it came with a small file for a smooth finish.When it arrived, the blue is very gray, not quite as pretty as shown online (but I get that not all things look the same, moniter settings, etc...). I also didn't realize that this set does not have the magnet to keep the case closed like the others I own. Actually, the nippers have a snap rather than a magnet but it is still a sturdy closure. On this case, there is a slender tab that the flap is supposed to slide into. However, then length of the file (which BTW is really short) extends out the top and keeps the flap from being able to go far enough into the tab to secure it.None of these annoyances justifies returning the clippers, especially since they are intended to stay in a desk drawer. But, it shows a lack of diligence on the part of manufacturer to insure the highest quality of the products is maintained for those who will be carrying them around. Meeting customer's expectations is what keeps those customers coming back rather than looking elsewhere. Right now, I'm not sure I would give quite as hardy of an edorsement as I have in the past.
