This is a great entry doorknob for your doors to the street. For a guy like me it was tricky as hell to get to work. I installed it I bet five times and the doorknob would not turn! The directions do not tell you that the long protruding strip that goes into the interior side has to be turned once to make the whole thing work!! I watched a You Tube video of a doorknob replacement guy and that's how I found out what to do and BAM! Installed and working! Well built and attractive knob but the instructions left that part out. I ordered another for my back door.

So I read many less than positive reviews and wondered if it was mostly operator error or truly a poor product. So out of curiosity and need, I ordered since the price was low and Amazon has great return policies. I received the lock set and checked it out before installing and it looked and felt like good quality. I felt confident that it would work just fine. I installed it. Took mere minutes. Everything went well. Lock works great. Key works great(three keys come with it). The latch is easily adjustable for the two common door lock backset spacing. The locking tab on the inside of the door can be set to either be locked or unlocked when vertical and visa versa. Just look inside the inside handle and hold the flange while rotating the knob to the way you want the tab to be oriented. I think the poor reviews were based upon operator error. The latch has the standard anti lock picking mechanism so a credit card can’t open the door. The key is pretty simple so I’m guessing an experienced lock picker would not have much trouble but this is just your average garage door type of lock. I think it’s a pretty good lock for most situations and would not hesitate to recommend.

I needed a pacific door look and ordered this one and it is quality installed easily and most importantly works like a charm

The doorknob works fine as expected. Only small little thing is that it locks sometimes on its own when turning it. I use it for my bedroom in a shared house so I always have to make sure my keys are on me so I don’t accidentally get locked out just to leave my room to use the bathroom or something. That’s really the only con but other than that I’m satisfied with this purchase since it was a low cost option

I liked the styling and the ease of the installation

Locking with key works fine but locking with switch on door barley works. Sometimes door will automatically lock when closing the door. It did this while I was in my took. I got locked in because the handle switch wouldn't unlock the door. Luckily I had screwdriver in my room and I unscrewed the whole assembly. Waste of money.

Takes 5 mins to install and seems to be well-functional. I’ve replaced a couple of handles on the interior and exterior of my shop. Hopefully they work well for a few years.

Door know feels very cheap. You can especially tell once you install it because it jiggles in a very cheap way. Also when putting in your key it feels like a child's toy. I have no idea how to pick locks but I think this would be the perfect door knob to learn on. The door know seriously feels like I could snap it if I used my full strength. I haven't tested it and I'm honestly hesitant to.The only saving grace in my opinion is that if you are using this on an exterior door than you probably already have a deadbolt on it that you lock. On a bedroom door I think this is where it would shine the brightest. I'm almost embarrassed to have this on my front door though. Might seriously get a different door know.Last note is that this is an SC1 keyway however it seems that other SC1 keys won't fit in the key way. I think this could potentially make it very difficult if you needed to make copies of the key. I honestly think these keys might be a bit thinner than a normal key and that could be the reason.
