Jerdon JS911B 8" By 11" Cordless Led Vanity Mirror & Charging Station

I was really excited when I got this mirror, but when I turned it on, I was almost blinded by how freaking bright it is! I had full intentions of sending it back and getting another one that was dimmable. However, when I was looking at other mirrors I noticed how similar they were and how on the other mirrors you just had to hold down on the center button to dim it. On a whim I just decided to try it, not expecting anything to happen, but it dims! No where in the description, reviews, or paperwork does it mention that it dims. Maybe mine is somehow a wonderful fluke, but I was pleasantly surprised! I will be keeping this mirror now that the lights don't have to be so bright! It's a great mirror, good size and perfect for anyone!

I hate writing a negative review, BUT I ordered 1 of these and it didn't work, The lights wouldn't come on. Amazon sent me replacement immediately and I returned it, unfortunately when the replacement arrived it didn't work either. 2 in a row! Honestly don't waste your time or money! It wasn't Amazons fault, just a cheaply made product.

The magnified mirrors had come unglued from their place and had to be glued back in, taking 2 days to fix. The power cord causes the mirror to fall forward when plugged in. I'm fairly disappointed with this. I expected better for my money and out of Sharper Image.

For the price, this is an excellent mirror. You have to charge it with the plug or with batteries for it to come on, but that is the same with any mirror of this kind. It is huge, clear, and bright. It charges my phone while charging itself! The little mirror that swivels around is great for plucking hairs (or showing you too much of what you don't want to see, lol). Great beginner mirror for makeup fanatics and teenaged girls! 😀

Maybe mine was defective, but no matter how tight or loose the screw (connecting the mirror to the pedestal) the mirror wouldn't hold a tilt - it just fell down to vertical. Also, be aware that once you attach the pedestal to the base, it will NOT come apart, so this cannot be used as a travel mirror. Overall build quality, even for this price, seemed very low. Returned.

This mirror is great! The lighting is bright, and has nice clean white glow. I own a similar priced mirror when illuminated it casts a dingy yellow. I had never noticed the yellow tint before, but when I compared the two I prefer this mirrors lighting. It sizes is also an improvement. The actual surface of the mirror is about twice the size of my old mirror, and this mirrors base is substantialy smaller. I liked that this mirror offers two magnified view. (Switching between two eliminated some eye stress I felt while focusing on different areas) How ever the size of the magnified mirrors is much smaller then my old one which did cause some eye strain. This mirrors base unfortunately is cheap plastic and the mirror will some times fall shift or fall backwards when shifting and for no apparent reason. I found my old mirror much more asteticaly pleasing, (it had a matte silver finish). The cheap plastic and magnifying mirror bar detract from the over all quality. I choose to store this in my closet while my old mirror remains on my vanity. Before buying, I had no interest in the the USB but thought it might come in handy. I now find it completely unnecessary. This mirror's cord is only slightly longer then my phone cord and I can plug it in to my wall outlet from the same position and the USB and the phone when resting on the base flip the mirror. In my opinion if they ditched the USB and mirror bar and had a moth sterdy and visually appealing base this mirror would be a must have item. Overall I say this mirror is a great for the price. If you're looking to by your first serious vanity mirror this is a great but if you already have a light mirror stand that you're happy i suggest spending your money on another splurge item.

This to me is perfect. The quality of this mirror is outstanding for the price. It's lighting is adjustable and the magnification mirror is such a handy component. I also think that having a usb on the back is awesome, I can't tell you how many times I've used it while getting ready to charge my phone, great addition

Stopped working after a yearAngled mirror does not stay, great vertical mirror though? Has anyone figured out how to get the mirror to stay at an angle and not keep falling down straight up and down

Lighting is very poor.
