Q: Does the bamboo lid warp frombthe heat after prolonged use?

Ours never did, but we removed it to pour so the only real high temp it got was from steam. That didn't seem to bother the bamboo much at all. Don't place it in the dishwasher though, our 11 year old did that and it's... well, it still fits and still works but it's bumpy.
