Worked great for why I purchased it

kit doesn't even include solder. Hella bummed needed to fix my multi meter and got this kit. No solder number one. 2. Doesbt really seem to get hot enough to de solder which de soldering separates the men from the boys anyway. Comes with screw drivers that are worthless. Some wire snips a little plunger solder sucker. Nothing to great about the rest the components I think a higher wattage iron would be a good call. But I dunno.

I was concerned when I purchased this soldering iron because there were many negative reviews about it, but I have successfully soldered a small circuit board with little trouble at all and the iron is working great. Now, as for the soldering iron holder and sponge they are pretty horrible garbage, but I already suspected that when I purchased it. I will be ordering a decent replacement stand ASAP. That being said the sponge isn't the worst. The worst are the replacement sponges I purchased. I thought this was the worst sponge I had ever seen until I saw those ones. Also, I cannot recommend using the cheap plastic solder sucker included. I have a metal one that works for me. Might just throw that one out. It was terrible.Now for the reason why I didn't dock a star for those terrible items comes to the rest of the kit which is great. Starting with the tweezers which are actually not bad, though not sure if it will hold up to SMD hot air gun, it is pretty decent for setting parts. The wire snips work pretty well and having a choice of tips is very important. The best of all is the small screwdriver set, it has come in handy even more than the iron. Pretty solid workmanship for just a side item in a soldering kit.I haven't used the soldering brass yet, but I am sure it will come in more handy as I start doing lead free soldering and my iron temp is higher. Since I usually don't do lead free work I do not know how the iron will hold up when I do. Will update if the situation changes.

High quality and feels great. Has a good weight balance in the hand and is surprisingly quick to heat up. The only things I don’t like about the product are that the solder sucker feels cheap contrasting everything else, and the cable on the iron itself is rather short but somewhat manageable.

A soldering kit with a proper stand, nice snips, a good (enough) soldering iron and tips, a brass sponge, standard tiny tweezers and desolderimg pump, and a bonus tiny screwdriver kit.Honestly for the price it is a good value.
