The finish of the toilet seat is very good and it was relatively easy to install.The soft close finish lasted less than a year and at 13 months the top part of the fixings sheered off. We are a small grown up family and we have 3 toilets, so it really wasn't over used or abused in any way. Our main toilet seat is over 30 years old!I would expect a £40 toilet seat to last longer than just over a year!

I was prepared to pay this money for 2 reasons. 1) silent close, 2) No noise in the night when one stands up.1) as a gent who needs both hands to urinate it is not acceptable that the seat will not stay up on its own. Having to pee through a moving target is interesting but ultimately unhygienic. 2) if one sits down on the seat for any length of time when one stands up the seat sticks to one’s buttocks and then clatters down. As a light sleeper and as the husband of a lady who uses the toilet several times a night i am losing sleep. When i bought this seat i did not expect to have to buy a packet of blue tack to fix it.My wife is now objecting to a wet seat instead of one that i leave up and my 3 year old granddaughter will not use it because the goldfish has bloodshot eyes and reminds her of her recently departed goldfish ‘goldy.’Not my best choice!

We had an old traditional wood toilet seat that developed a crack through it. We wanted a replacement with a soft close hinge, and decided to ring in the changes with a more funky colorful and fun design, a frog in an inflatable ring. The choice of design was my partners, not to everyone's taste I know, but there are lots of alternative designs available.We tracked the delivery across Europe from Germany, it arrived within 5 days, safely and sensibly packaged. I got round to fitting it a short while after. The fitting instructions were clear and helpful, it is a bit fiddly to do, but despite my DIY challenged skills it was within my limited capabilities. The good news is that in regular use over a couple of years now it has performed well, no problems, well up to the job it was designed for, and it has brightened up our downstairs loo with a bit of fun. The soft close function works well, easy to clean , and it stays in place .A fair price for a decent product that is well constructed and designed and has lasted well with no problems, so recommended (with a design of your choice).

I am very pleased with this toilet seat. The quality of workmanship is very good - the hinges are solid and well finished, the toilet seat itself looks and feels classy. Fitted in minutes and they even provided a little gadget to tighten the fixing nuts from below, where it would be awkward to use a spanner. Thank you!

This was easy to install and done in a matter of minutes. It took longer to unscrew the old one because of the screws had corroded over the years.The seat is vaccum packed and comes with all the attachments, screws and seals.Both the seat and the lid are soft close!!The seat is warmer than my old wooden one and not at all cool despite the colder weather now so delighted with this purchase and hope it lasts years. Seemed to come from Germany so no doubt made to last!

Really loved the toilet seat, the look, feel and ease to install. However, 12 months after fitting, the hinges sheered off and the silver coating started to split on the underside of the seat. It was not under heavy use as we have 2 toilets in the house and are a grown up family of4. Really very disappointed and would expect better quality when paying this amount of money.

Silly isn't it... when something that should be mundane makes you smile.. its a toilet seat for goodness sake!!I love it. It does exactly what it says. It is of good quality. It does the job its supposed to ..AND..it closes like a whisperI am deciding what cute design I will have for downstairs loo.... It has to be the fish in the bowl !!!Worth the money

Absolutely stunning. Goes with my little Forest Shower. I close my eyes and pretend that I'm in the Forest whether I'm in the shower or on the toilet 🤣hahaha...I dont have to worry about that big loud bang of family members trying to close the lid ... Well worth the money for sure ..
