Mr. Bar-B-Q Magnetic Grilling Light

I purchased this product early for a Christmas gift. Unfortunately it wasn’t opened right away so cannot return to amazon. Light does not work so product is not useable. Would not recommend this product. If you purchase open it immediately.

I was so excited to discover grill lighting. My grill sets in an area that doesn't get enough light for cooking after dark, which I often do. I've been using a small LED flashlight but it is a bit clumsy to manage it while checking the meat for doneness. This is capable of providing strong light with terrific positioning flexibility. The design seemed wonderful, and it looked like it would be durable. Overall, I thought the reviews were okay to good. Well, that was not my experience. This gets a big fat zero from me. The light fell apart upon assembly and could not be remedied. It may be that a magical part was lost in the assembly process or while it fell apart. I don't know but it is such a disappointment. The best part is that it didn't cost much. I'll toss it because it's not worth returning; and keep searching for a good grill light that works.

Magnet wasn't strong enough to stay attached to bbq tool

I bought this light from A 2 Z...my first time dealing with that company, and I can tell you that the service and product is fantastic. I then purchased more items from A-2-Z. Both BBQ items (made by Mr. BBQ) i ordered came in Target branded packaging (Chefmate). Not what I expected, but I was pleasantly surprised to receive them. I figure Target has some pretty strict quality control measures, so if they are ok with it for an $8.00 and $5.00 item, then I would be too. And to that point...these are much higher quality than expected! This light has 3 LED bulbs...and they are bright! Additionally, the magnet on the bottom is super powerful. Finally, there is a cool innovative ball joint allowing the light to be positioned easily and a number of different ways. I know this is a lot to read about a grill light...but for the money...you will not find one better! 2 of these on any grilling station will work fin. 4 would look like a prison yard during a breakout!

It didn't last. The light assembly disconnected (broke), off from the base. Which now makes it a light without a magnet, rendering it useless as a grill light that you can attach to the metal part of your grill. It was cheap & only lasted less that a month. If you do buy it, handle with lots of care.
