Ladybird Tales of Adventurous Girls: With an Introduction From Jacqueline Wilson

I bought this for my 8yr old daughter and niece off the back of my daughter having Goodnight Stories for Rebel Girls (which we love). The cover looks lovely and the illustrations are similar to rebel girls but the stories in this book are a bit too gruesome in my opinion to be considered suitable for this age group. There are some scary looking monsters, kidnapping as well as killing so I have had to return for a refund.

Stories have nice messages. However, some are a little dark so be wary if reading to smaller children.

My daughter loves this. She has both books in the series, and is her go-to book most evenings for a bedtime read. Well written, great illustrations and I've learnt a lot reading it to my daughter! :)

Great stories! My 5 year old loves them and they are a good level of stimulation for her. Would highly recommend

I brought this as a gift for my 9 year old niece. From what I hear she really enjoys this CD story.
