CNDVinylux Longwear Red Nail Polish, Gel-like Shine & Chip Resistant Color, 0.5 Fl Oz

I bought this because I wanted something to last a week without coming off that I dont have to use a light with or soak off. After reading some reviews, it seemed like this might do the trick, but as you see in the Photo it is starting to chip and this is after four days. I put two coats of color on with a topcoat as instructed. It’s hard to see from the photos, but each color could’ve used at least one more coat and the topcoat would’ve been better with two coats. so in total, we’re talking at least five coats to look perfect and with only three coats it looks thin and doesn’t last more than 3 1/2 to 4 days before it starts chipping in wearing. So I wouldn’t say it’s extraordinary. It does dry very fast so I do like that about it but that’s about the only thing that makes it stand out from regular polish. I will use CND shellac but alternate with this so I can cut down my exposure to harmful UV light.

Original review: I love this polish and the color Wildfire is gorgeous. It's my absolute favorite. If you like red, then this is your color. I get a lot of compliments whenever I wear it. The color goes with everything and my manicure lasts much longer than with the common store brands of regular nail polish. I love that it doesn't require a base coat. It goes on fast and smooth! It comes off easily with acetone and doesn't leave a mess on my skin.Updated 2/20/21 to attach two photos of the color Asphalt because Amazon won't let me review each individual color I purchased. Gotta hate that silly rule! Anyway, Asphalt is a gorgeous gray. It's a real beauty. I absolutely love it! I painted the tips free style without using tape or strips because I like the natural (not absolutely perfect) look it gives the tips. I covered the entire nail with another coat of Negligee after I painted the tips. The colors go beautifully together and I love the clean, natural look.9/17/22 Updated to add pictures of Brick Knit. It's a great fall color and it's very shiny. No base. Two coats of polish. One topcoat (Vinylux CND). Polished and dried in 20 minutes.9/26/22 Updated to add pictures of Hollywood. Very pretty and easy to paint on. I used sticky base under and the suggested topcoat over. Dried fast.

I wanted this polish to work so badly but it chipped easily. I will probably only use it on my toes.

I bought the color "Berry Boudiou" and in the picture it looks like a berry color, but when I received it, it is a very dark purple color. I realize that it's hard to judge colors online, but this was way,way off.

I purchased this brand as it was recommended by one of my vloggers. I was excited to try it for the upcoming holidays. I purchased this brand polish and top coat. Followed the instructions for application, used my uv nail lamp, etc. They dried really quick which I loved. However, today is day 3 of having them done and they already chipped on 3 of my nails. I was hoping to get at least a week to two weeks use of them before noticing wear. I am not rough on my nails either. Will give it another try, but hoping they last longer this next application.

•2 coats of color Decadence in photos•more opaque than sheer•lasts longer than other brands on my thin bendy nails (no light cure)•top coat definitely recommended. I thought it was unnecessary and didnt want to wait the dry time for another coat bcz that runs a new smudge risk. But I honestly noticed it helps with shine and protection.•remove with acetone polish remover, regular remover wont work with this type of polish. Whether you go nail by nail or apply coverings on ur finger tips, it needs to soak on the nail around 30 secs (or longer of course) before it starts to work thru the layers. Acetone is drying, apply nail oil and lotion after removal.

I absolutely love CND nail polish. Once I tried it I could not bear going back to any other so-called top-of-line nail polish sold, I have tried them all from high designer brands to the best drug stores offer. CND used with their topcoat stays on for one week. Usually, I add an additional coat during the middle of the week to keep my nails looking perfect. I constantly get compliments on my nails and tell them it is CND. I highly recommend trying it with the topcoat.
