So far I love this and I am very impressed with the ease of use and the accuracy seems to be on point. This chamber heating pad is a must have to keep your chamber heated safely while purging. Save the griddle for pancakes and bacon. Update- the temp varies too much across the heat pad. The hotter spots turn the shatter to wax. The temp varies 30F+ from one spot to another on the heat pad. I am trying something new with a couple buffers to help disperse the heat better. I peeled the heat pad off my chamber removed the sticky backing (took a bit of rubbing with fingers while heat pad is on and yes you will get a blister lol) I then put a pie plate filled with sand in between the heat pad and chamber. I also have a borosilicate evaporating dish inside the chamber as another buffer. The temp only varies about 5F now. We'll see what happens next run.

So far, this 6' heat pad works great. It heats up relatively quickly and accurately maintains temperture. The offset temp is only 20F with my setup which is loosely covered with the bottom half of a large styrofoam chest. I have never used a heating pad like this before on my vacuum/pressure chamber which previous had a heating jacket. I think it works even better.

The product i received was broken and also 110 volts..so it functionated not at all..In Holland everything is 230/240 volts
