Shipped late with wrong hardware, otherwise an okay visual deterrent
Minus 1 star: I ordered Tuesday May 24 with a supposed Amazon Prime 2-day delivery for Thursday which left plenty of time to get it installed before traveling for memorial day weekend. I checked the tracking Thursday morning and discovered it hadn't even shipped yet - it was now estimated to arrive Saturday (which it did). If a Saturday delivery would have been good enough, I could have saved $30 and ordered the $70 competitor instead ( MSCRP Catalytic Converter Protection shield).Minus another star: This kit was supposed to come with 3 different types of rivets: Four 1/4" rivets for the larger holes on the front of the shield, three long 3/16" rivets for the back of the front shield, and four standard length 3/16" rivets for the rear shield. Mine came with seven standard length 3/16" rivets which were not long enough for the three holes that use the anti-rattle spacer. Harbor freight had slightly longer rivets which worked, but they had smaller flanges and don't seem ideal. We'll see how it holds up over time.Minus 1/2 star: The "CAR A MORE" logo cut into both shields is a negative to me. I'd much rather it be plain and save on the laser/water cut time.Minus 1/2 star: The rear shield is mostly a visual deterrent. Miller cat shield - the $200+ one sold by Toyota dealers - doesn't even bother to include a rear shield because, as you can see from my first two pictures, you can easily get a sawzall blade between the rear shield and the chassis brace (even with the rear shield all the way against the brace). A rear shield curved to match that brace would close that gap, but there is still all kinds of room behind the brace to cut the exhaust pipe. A truly functional rear shield would have to go on both sides of that chassis brace. Better yet, make it a full bellypan and sell it as both a catalytic converter shield and an aerodynamic aid for better mpg... Edit: the rear shield does limit the amount of room a thief has to maneuver the cat once they have cut it - but by that point the thief is pretty committed to the theft and a thin sheet of aluminum isn't likely to stop them.Aside from those issues, it works without rattling. If some cat-stealing tweaker takes a peak at night, hopefully they decide the juice isn't worth the squeeze.1 week update: it does sometimes rattle/chatter very slightly when aggressively taking off from a stop. This only happens for the first ~5 mph and might be partly the fault of my 200,000 mile-old motor mounts allowing more engine movement than when new. i might not even hear it if I wasn't listening for it.

Works fine but…
It works, very well. The 4 holes line up with factory holes precisely. But, they send a used scratched up shields which made me very nervous, plus when I checked the parts list, all the 3/16 rivets are the same, no extra long (grip length) rivets to use with spacers. I spent a lot of time figuring out all the parts to get from HD before getting start. I can imagine how pissed off I would be after installing those 3 short rivets then realize they are too short, have to remove them and drop everything to run to the store hopefully they have the longer rivets.Regardless, those 4 front 1/4 rivets are going to require heavy duty gun which not every one will have. I was just lucky to have a rivet nut gun so I use that instead. The 10-32 rivets nuts fit perfectly into the factory holes. With stainless steel pan head 10-32 bolts and washers the install was a breeze. Drilling into the metal floor was not as bad either, thin metal. No wonder the Prius’ rigidity is not very good.Edit: drop 1 star due to super loud noise whe driving up or down an incline. The curvy cuts at the rear of the front panel are too close to the car’s braces and the Prius being not very rigid causing rubbings.

Converter plate
I installed this on our Pruis, not a hard install. The set of parts they sent were not correct. I had to get a few more parts to finish the job. The rivets that were supposed to be 3/4” long were not sent, so I ordered a few here.

Perfect Fitment
No regrets, perfect fitment. Took a chance on this more affordable listing cus I didn’t want to spend $160 on stamped sheet metal. I used my own hardware (rivenuts and self tapping screws) to install this so I can’t rate it on the rivets provided (rivet tool not included). The spacers helps with spacing the sheet from the cats, which is probably why other listings have issues with rattling, but i can also see a poorly installed rivet would cause rattling. Overall very happy with the purchase, especially in SoCal, where a cat replacement is $3000…

Good quality, much cheaper alternative to the name brand
Considering the low price I was concerned if the aluminum plate would be thin. Its not. There is no information from the supplier but the aluminum sheet metal is 1.8 mm thick. Their stamping was backwards on the plate but that is merely cosmetic. I used rivnuts with mixed tamper proof bolts instead of the provided rivets in case I need to remove the shield. I did not experience any of the rattling issues mentioned in other reviews.

Slows down thieves, but won't stop them completely
We had this installed, by a mechanic who has installed a ton of them recently. Cost about $70 to install which is not big deal, HOWEVER, last night we came out to thieves who had cut this plate right down the middle and were in the process of still getting the converter! It was reported to police and because it made it harder for them to just cut and go the converter was saved which is great. Just now purchased another shield to have installed.

Knowing it is there is something off my mind.
The only thing I can fault it is that it needs a little more gasket around it. Everyone in a while I can still here a little bit of a rattle from it. So if you are installing it, get a bit more to include the rest of the mounting areas.

good for the price
Good for a sense of added protection against converter theft .
