I have a very badly insulated house. Freezing in winter and unbearably hot in summer as it has huge, south facing windows which makes it as hot as a greenhouse. I used the silver blankets to cover all the windows through which the sun shines. They have worked very well in keeping the house cool enough for me to survive the summer and they are excellent value.
