We live in big storm country and it's not unusual for us to be forced to endure the hot summer heat without the benefit of electricity or running water. We can't complain really. It only happened once last year.We are campers and hikers, so having this personal filtration device is nice for stashing in the emergency "go" kit. It's very small and takes up very little space. Nice quality.

These are a great invention. Years ago I used to use iodine tablets (tastes horrible), or boil (takes forever) my water when wilderness backpacking. These filters changed all that.This particular filter is quite small and easy to carry. It has a "straw" mouthpiece on one end, and the other end can go directly in your water source, screw on a water bottle you've filled with unfiltered water, or you can friction fit an 8mm / 5/16" hose to the intake. The water bottle works particularly well because you can squeeze it to speed things up.Great little filters, and easy to carry.

I live in Earthquake Country so I have a pretty substantial earthquake kit and I have several water filters. They were just packed in the bag with no real protection. I feel much better about their safety in these silicone cases. If you have a water filter, these cases seem to make a lot of sense.

This is a pretty cool product. I’m very picky when it comes to water, I always drink purified never spring. I’m that person that can taste the difference between all types(I also lived through the Flint water crisis). This is handy and attaches to just about any water bottle. Downside is I can’t attach it to any reusable bottle I have. Thermals are too big or aren’t threaded to fit this. Would be nice especially so I don’t have to waste plastics.
