Gets the job done

This is a lot better than the similar tool that I got with a Halfords tool kit. I’ve used it on 90’s Raleigh as well as Carrera and Specialized hybrid bikes. Very simple to use and I was using it within minutes of opening the packet.I’d totally recommend this over more expensive brand names.

HOWEVER, this device falls short for OCTALINK and ISIS cranks because the extra foot is too small, the foot is 15mm in diameter, which is 1mm to narrow for OCTALINK and ISIS cranks, and it got stuck in the threads, I got luck and was able to push it out from the other side and the thread for main bolt was not damaged. The “fix” that made it work for me was using an M8 washer which is 16.5mm in diameter, in front of the additional foot was saw able to remove the crank arm. Really the foot should be 16mm like some of the more professional tools look up “cwp7 crank puller” for a frequent use product, but this device is OK for occasional use, maybe manufacturer should review the size if the additional foot or provide the two different sizes.

Bought to replace a lost remover. Thought who needs an expensive tool to just remove a chain set?? Hmmm…me it would seem. This tool is clearly cheaply made and was loose in the threads. Result? Yep stripped threads and the need to purchase the Park tool, which was WAY better and still removed the chain set even with damaged threads. You get what you pay for. Stay away! You’ve been warned.

Great product. Used this to replace spin bike cranks that had survive wear and tear and extremely frayed. Gripped well and allowed me to replace with ease. Would happily recommend product.

Good clean outer threads easily screw all the way home into the pedal, no issues removing the pedal with this tool and no damage to the pedal o BB.

Used to remove a 30 year old crank

Purchased some Jupiter eBikes for the family to hit the trails, and my daughter hit a curb with the pedal and bent the pedal shaft, and eventually stripped the pedal arm so the pedal fell off and no longer screws in. So had to order a whole new crank assembly from Jupiter bikes. The only way to take the crank off the bike is to use this Crank Arm Remover puller. It worked fine, was able to successfully replace the crank and pedal with no issues. Handy tool to have if you want to repair bike issues on your own.
