I am not sure what I was expecting, but this is just a plastic tube... and my little guys were not that excited. They ran through it a couple of times and now they just go around it. ARGGG

1. This item is not red, it is orange - if that matters to you.2. This item does not extend to 36".3. Most importantly, this item contains ridges even when fully extended that are deep enough for your guinea pig's sensitive feet to be damaged - within hours of the first day in the pen one of my girls severely damaged her foot. I took it out immediately so no one else would get hurt and would caution anyone from using it.

The media could not be loaded.  This is an amazing tunnel, easy to fold and is really adjustable, sometimes can be hard to clean because of the ridges in it. Would also recommend adding some metal rings to the ends to stop them getting chewed! Overall it’s a great product!

My two guinea pigs love tunnels and these are great. My boys don't have any consideration for my time though so they are happy to pee and poop in them which can be a real pain to clean with all the ridges. I would recommend keeping an eye on your fur-babies with these tunnels though as they can easily be nibbled. I never leave mine unattended while they have these tunnels in their pen as one of my boys has previous for chewing.I've attached two tunnels together and the piggies chuckle and squeak with delight as they scurry through them.This size is great for larger piggies, I'd previously bought the smaller of these tunnels but large bottoms struggle to get through :-)I also have 6" duct pipes that I've since discovered which are easier to wash, are harder wearing and not so tempting for chewers. In all, I would recommend the ducting pipes over these. (click on my name and you can see my review for the duct pipes)

In theory this is a great play thing for my guinea pigs and without doubt they really do LOVE it, racing around like crazy through it......BUT, they also love to EAT it, all three of them munching away. In addition it is a total pain to clean, the piggies sit and poop and pee in it which gets stuck in all the ridges. I have to blast it with a hose (getting self drenched in the process) to get it clean and even then it's not 100%. After 1 week it was full of chew holes and bits of stuck poop that I can't get off so I have ditched it in favour of making my own tunnels out of bent cage squares and fleece. The piggies love these just as much and they are so much easier to clean.

On the first purchase the product arrived with reasonably quality of the material and then I decided to buy one more because 1m is not long enough for a ferret. The second one was definitely a different product although it was sold as the same. The material of the second purchase was transparent and thin. It's difficult to bend without making wrinkles on it.

I purchased this extendable play tunnel for my new pet ferret. Actually I have to say that it was only by chance, as I've previously bought 2 for my rats, from here on Amazon, both were blue & got them the same 1. I opted for the blue 1s as they were the cheapest. This time the price of the blue ones had risen slightly, so I browsed, & came across this red 1, for a really good price & next day delivery, & being a different colour too. So it arrived speedily, & on opening the packaging I was surprised to see how large it was! I'm really pleased that I did opt for this 1 as the size is perfect for my ferret! I only gave this 3 stars for easy cleaning as these plastic extendable tubes are crinkled, obviously, which does make them harder to clean, but they are pretty durable & affordable, deffo worth the price, & would deffo order this again in future. Highly recommended!
