Read for the motivation, for the actual calisthenics look somewhere else
To give you an idea, it gives you a 6 month long workout program keeping the pull-ups out of it. Instead, it keeps focusing on the body rows. Even the workouts given are too basic and of very low intensity.Forget a intermidiate like me, even a total beginner, after dedicating his 6 months into "The Ultimate Calisthenics Program" will get nothing out of it.

Could be better! Info is great
The information in this book is great but I feel it's lacking a little on things like pictures, diagrams, infographics, etc. Especially when the topic is exercise, only having writing doesn't do much and it feels like one big blog article. Hopefully, the author can improve on these things and put a little more effort into the design aspect of the book. The information inside is very helpful though.

Well outlined program
My husband and I a are starting a strength training initiative. I have been looking at and reviewing strength training and calisthenics e-books for what program would work best for us. This book is well outlined of what to expect, phases of the program, and descriptions of the exercises. The exercises do contain photos or diagrams on how to perform described actions and seem pretty self explanatory. We have not started this program and so I cannot review the program itself, but the e-book laying out the how-to for this program is well done.

Not As Much As I Was Hoping For
When I bought this book I was hoping for a slew of new calisthenics and an overall game plan for mixing those new exercises into a workout for my future. What I got was a few workouts linked together, and not much in terms of new or innovative exercises, and very few descriptions, pics, or ideas for new exercises. I've been working out all of my adult life. I began training as a teen and as a former Army Ranger have worked with a Navy SEAL to help run his bootcamp for the past 20 years. I have tried and led enthusiasts in exercises and workouts of all types. I was hoping for more from this book.

A guide to calistenic workout program
This book dispays a six month sample calistenic program and also explains the factors that one must consider to get results. The author discussed diets, resting, mental part, and detailed workout exercises. The author did a good job of describing the routines to use, how to implement it, and how to stay focus on the goal and priorities of the program. A good read for anyone looking to learn more about calistenic options of workouts.

The exercises require minimal time and equipment, and plenty of encouragement is presented to keep you motivated. Although lucidly written and organized, the writing isn’t particularly lively with many sentences beginning with there, this, and that.
