RMPStamping Blanks, 1 Inch Round with Hole, Aluminum 0.063 Inch (14 Ga.) - 100 Pack

I'm using these to tag various SCUBA gear in our rental operation after having started with brass tags. They are much easier to stamp than brass tags and don't have the problems with corrosion that I've had with brass. They have a smooth finish and the stampings are clean, with no rough or jagged bits on the edges. Top side corner is slightly rounded and bottom is square, but not sharp. All in all, a good sold basic tag.The hole in them is rather small, I had to use the next size up drill bit to open it ever so slightly so that the heavy duty stainless key lanyards that I'm using could pass through. Took no time at all and I'm 100% certain that they will work exactly as planned.They are nice and thick, so I'm expecting a good service life out of them. (remember, this is rental, and NOTHING lasts forever in a rental environment). Have already gotten feedback from Staff and Customers on how much easier they are to read than the brass tag.Am already planning on getting more to replace / upgrade existing brass tags as time and need permits.

I gave it a five star rating because it was exactly as described. We were looking for the stamping blanks for a functional purpose for branding for our tiny company. In the future we will order deburred ones since the edges were a little rough on one side for a lot of handling. Item came quickly and I like them and may find a use for them later on. There is protective plastic on the smoother side to keep it pristine for engraving.

I have been looking for good quality blanks for almost a month. Well, I shall look no further! The quality is truly amazing! Super easy to stamp with different size stamps and the impressions are flawless. The protective label is a great addiiton and it was very easy to remove. I will definitely be ordering this product again!

These blanks were very pretty until about 5 minutes of exposure. I make these into necklaces. I have a crystal hanging in front of it. After about 5 minutes it had marks on it from the crystal. Not very shiny after that.

These work well. I know they are aluminum but they are really light weight.
