Lovely book
I love this book. It has lots of common sense ideas and tips for reducing excess calories and reigning in your appetite. Many of the recipes are everyday ones such as spaghetti bolognese, Thai curry, fish and chips but with a lower calorie/healthier twist. Nothing is banned. Delicious breakfasts, lunches, dinners and even puds - just the right amount of variety to get started on a more careful way of eating, not too much choice so that it overwhelms and not too little so that it gets boring. Very importantly, all the recipes are quick, easy, healthy and realistic, and are presented in a fun way.

Even the author could not adopt this as a new lifestyle
Basic recipes - great if you don't know how to cook, nothing new if you do. It works if you make this how you are going to eat for the rest of your life but if, like the author, you cannot sustain it, then the pounds will romp back onto your rump!

Great food - easy to make
I bought this as it seemed a "normal" cookbook and had some great reviews. I love most of the recipes in it and they're really easy to make and even better you don't need to go out and spend a fortune on ingredients - most of them I had in the cupboard anyway. I'm really enjoying making the food in this book and it tastes great and not like "diet food" at all. Great book.

A Winner!!
Having tried recipes enclosed with Nadia's exercise dvd, I was sufficiently encouraged to buy this book. I am not disappointed with it.Made the carrot and butternut squash soup today and it's gorgeous, packed full of hearty flavours and extremely filling on a cold winter's day. I like the book itself, more compact than a lot, lovely photos, common sense advice, suitable for the whole family and full of tempting, no nonsense tasty dishes. Perfect, I think, and look forward to working my way through the whole thing. If you are thinking of buying, then just do it, and confidently expect to be eating good, tasty food whilst you lose/maintain your weight. You wont regret it!!

Great book
There are some really tempting recipes in this book, most are very easy to make and not packed with very expensive ingredients so suitable for people and families that don't have an unlimited food budget. We haven't tested the recipes yet but the book has quite a lot of markers showing the ones we want to try first. Considering this is sold as a a diet book, with guilt free food, the recipes are really substantial - certainly not just rabbit food.
