I love it when I discover a good read. This story is unique. Love stories, boy meets girl, yada yada, is fine. But digging into the history of an old insane asylum, that’s unique! The author is a awesome writer & weaves a story with different & interesting characters brought together in the heart breaking halls of the supposedly mentally insane. This will keep you going back time and again. The only disappointing part? It ended! On to the search for the next good read!

I really liked getting to know the characters in this book, they were beautifully described and at the end I felt I had come to know them. The start was a little slow for me but I persevered and am so glad I did! It is a lovely read, very sad in some parts but I am sure very true. I often do manage to know the twist before it comes so am often not too surprised when I am right but this book had me very surprised at least 3 times! This proves how good it was.I did really enjoy the book, would highly recommend it and am so pleased about the ending, really pleased, I didn't expect that either (in a nice way!).
