I needed this for an outdoor gravity fed sink. The first thing I noticed was it came with a 1/2 hose, inlet and outlet. That is much better compared to the normal 3/8 sink hose and outlets. This is important for my applicatiom as it allowed me to hook up a 3/4 standard hose to the rain barrel (needed an 3/4 to 1/2 adapter from the Orange store). The benefit here is that the bigger hose resulted in greater pressure and enhanced the downward water flow. One step on the foot pedal and BAMMM water flowing like the Mississippi! Of course when you remove your foot it stops. But now I have a hands free way to handle outdoor tasks. Great little unit and it felt solidly built.

I saw one of these at my neighbors house and had to get one. Foot operation works great, ideal for a shop sink. I combined it with a conventional faucet. This unit tees off the cold supply. Made a base out of waterproof pvc trim board to mount the foot petal.

Everything looked great , but upon install we found that the foot pump was a dud . Took it apart , tried it separately from the faucet , also didn't work , primed it and everything . Unfortunately , I purchased this in July and can't return it . The idea seems great , but in the future I will likely go with the less aesthetically pleasing self-priming marine pump , or possibly a 12 volt . I was just hoping this one would work out because it looks great and seems effortless to operate . Better luck next time *

very nice sturdy used it outdoors on my bbq island sink so now no gunky, corroding faucet but hands free. Highly reccomend. No gradual low to high control just on and off smooth control.

This does not work if not using with full water pressureand/or electricity.. Bought this as a post Helene prep addition to our home. Instructions are not super clear for someone thats never installed a faucet before( which in have done before and was still confused by the terminology in the instructions.... ). Faucet works wonderfully with a Rubber foot pump. The Faucet drill hole size is 1/2 in but 1 in is still workable. Went to Ace and Ebay for the other bits. Every thing arrived wrapped and in excellent condition. I think I just want the faucet next time though. I know I'll probably need another 2 or so.
