I use this filter in my bedroom, where I spend a lot of time. I keep it running when the housekeeper vacuums, to capture anything that the vacuum kicks up and doesn’t capture. When it comes down to it, HEPA is the best filtration out there. Moving air through a HEPA filter is the number one job of the purifier. This is a minimalist approach that gets the job done. I like the design, but would probably trade the rotary power switch for a buton solution?

I read everything I could find about this company before making this purchase. I loved their story and their mission and the transparent sharing of information on their website. I bought the air purifier for my son who is at university in Montreal, which has air quality issues especially in the winter (wood smoke smog). The package arrived almost a week ahead of the forecast time and he was able to set it up quickly. He found the product attractive, functional, and quieter than expected. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is because one of the legs was missing. My son is managing by balancing the fourth corner on a tin of baking powder but it would have been nicer to get all four legs without having to follow up.

This piece is together and snaps into place very easily. Will last about 3 months and easy to dispose of. The machine is a HEPA filter and works well in a room that can be dusty. Should be used with the Smart Air carbon filter as that will create a better HEPA filter experience. The carbon filter goes on the bottom and then the HEPA filter goes on top.

I was having trouble finding replacement filters, the original vendor I purchased the air filters from did not have stock. I was happy to find them on Amazon though they were quite a bit more expensive.

Just like the Square that this filter is used for...both products quite overpriced when compared to others on Amazon....without pre filter the HEPA lasts half as long even with weekly cleaning? I bought purifier after reading back story and wanted to support ecofriendly, Canadian company...never again. Cheaper aftermarket filters need to be produced.
