Do not like
The coffee is not finely ground, and the color is a light lemon. I do not feel this is the best quality, and I will not buy again. ; - (

False advertisement… can not trust this coffee
I bought this directly from the company versus on Amazon, but I wanted to warn other people so they don’t get taken like I did. The company informed me on the phone, they do NOT test for mycotoxins, and they do NOT test for mold in each lot. IMO you can NOT accurately advertise the way they do if you aren’t testing every lot. Other more reputable brands know this and test every lot as they should, and for mycotoxins not “mold” as mycotoxins are the real danger as anyone in the business should know. I have been doing CE’s for 15 years and have never had an adverse reaction, and I’ve tried other brands of “gold” roasts. I had an adverse reaction to this one. I contacted the company and was told they could refund me and I needed to send back the unused coffee, so I did (at a cost of nearly $20 for shipping). Weeks went by and no refund. I had to email them and threaten to contest the charges on my credit card, and then they gave me a credit for less than what it should be. (It was a four bag order and they refunded less than 3/4 what I paid, plus I had to pay shipping both ways). So I am out nearly $60 for trying a falsely-advertised imo likely contaminated (my body does not tolerate any mycotoxins at all due to toxic mold exposure) although I can’t say for sure on that one because I’m not spending hundreds of dollars to have it tested (maybe I should). They also told me the Gerson Institute does NOT recommend using blond roast coffee for CE’s, although I wouldn’t buy ANY coffee from this company as to me they have proven to be dishonest. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I ordered a light roast from a reputable company who tests every lot for both mycotoxins and heavy metals since then and it works great.

Ground Coffee Deteriorates Quickly!
I should have known better than to buy ground coffee; it quickly deteriorates, loses valuable, volatile chemical components, oxidizes, and then becomes rancid. Coffee should not be ground until minutes before it is brewed. I see that locally, organic whole, green beans can be purchased at roasters for about $10.00 a pound, rather than $125.00 for four pounds. As for Gerson advising against using green beans, I do not know.
