Ease of use
The gravity feed water filter is of good quality. The stainless steel is a good thickness and it came with a rubber ring to put on the bottom container to keep it from sliding on countertop. I also put a stainless steel spigot on it because it feels more durable than the plastic spigot. The only complaint I have are the filters. After reading up on the filters that came with it, I did not think they would remove everything I wanted it to so I purchased replacement filters that would remove all the elements I wanted.

Water quality tested worse than tap water!!!
I was shocked to find out that the quality level using the water quality tester came out to be 241 (on several occasions it was less not more) when drinking water is supposed to be within 100. For reference cold tap water in Jersey city is 161And we have been drinking this unhealthy water for 7-8 monthsThe seller is non-responsive on chat. I don’t know what to do with this now!

Water has No taste
Initially the water had a strange taste, but after a short time the taste went away. We are of the opinion plain water should not have any taste. It's comforting to know the 💧 water from this product is safe to drink.

Mixed feelings. Purewell 2.9 Gal. gravity-fed water filter
I have mixed feelings about this particular water filter. By itself it is a decent water filter but I think what it is trying to do is imitate what is arguably the most popular water filter of this type on the market, the Burkey, and in attempting to do so it falls short in terms of quality and in value.By itself the water filter is quite fine and nice to look at. Unboxing the unit is a bit difficult since they ship the top portion of the two-part bin upside down and inside the bottom portion and much like trying to pull apart two buckets that are stuck inside each other, this took some patience to get undone. Once undone the next disappointment are the instructions, or rather the lack thereof. Once I had everything unpacked the instructions were of little help explaining why there are three holes in the bottom of the filter but only two filters. There are three rubber cone shaped things, what are those for? The instructions don't say anything with regard to those rubber cones. I assume the three rubber cones are plugs for the holes if you're going to use only one or two filters but have three holes you can plug the unused holes up? Again, I assume because the instructions don't say anything to this regard. Speaking of filters why are there three holes for filters but only two filters? Is two all you need? Should I only be using one at a time, plugging the two empty holes, and the second filter is a back up? How long does the filter last? Should I buy one more and use three at a time? Again, I have absolutely no idea because there is no mention of any of this in the "instructions". Sure would be helpful information to know especially since the end result -- filtered water -- is going in my body! Before ordering this I read someone else's negative review about the filters saying they filtered red dyed water and red water came out. I didn't perform any such extensive test but I did run a bit of water through only one of the two filters and it came out tasting perfectly fine. Granted, it was tap water and not rain, stream, or other non-potable source of water so I can't speak to the purity result but only the taste. I guess the nice thing about this is that you can buy after market filters and then trust that manufacturer's purity statements because these filters don't speak to that. The whole unit consists of two main bins, a lid, a cheap plastic spigot (what happens when that wears out?), and a rubber ring to keep the unit sturdy on your counter top. At the time of this writing this product is selling for $219 on Amazon! Two hundred dollars?!?! For what? Some metal bins and two filters of unknown specifications? I'm sorry, I just do NOT see the value here. As I stated earlier I think this product is attemtping to emulate the very popular Burkey water filtration system and even though this is $220 right now, the equivalent Burkey filter (2.25Gal.) is selling for $317 on their site. However, the extra hundred dollars gets you a name brand with a known product and most likely better instructions and customer service should you ever need it. I still feel that $320 is a ton of money for what amounts to a few metal pots sitting on top of one another and two water filters but their name-brand water filters are selling for $218 for a pair so I guess $100 for the metal pots and the rest for the filters. When you put it in that context you'll have to decide if this trade off is a good compromise.I have good local city water and a water filter on my refrigerator that we primarily use. This water filter will be used for gatherings, possible camping trips, and most definitly stored away in case of some city water boil edict or other type emergency. I do like the product as a whole but still feel it's rather expensive for what you get and the lack of any name brand recognition. I hope this review was in any way helpful to you in making your decision.

Spring for the Berkey
I owned a Berkey for several years, gifted it to someone else during a move, and was looking to purchase another. A lightning deal on this dupe caught my eye, but it was nothing but disappointment. This is not a dupe for a Berkey in any regard, except possibly looks. The water still smelled chlorinated and tasted better, even after running several gallons through to clear the system and priming the charcoal. It pours thru the filters like a faucet instead of dripping. Hopeful but disappointing, returning and investing in a Berkey again.
