Our turtle 50 gallon turtle tank was filthy, almost impossible to keep up with. We were changing water almost every ten days along with a total wipe down. This filter is amazing! The water is as clean as when we filled it almost two weeks ago, our girl is happier, and so are we. As turtles do, she has moved it around and crawled on it, it doesn’t miss a beat. A huge plus, it’s quiet!

Falls apart all the time and has to be adjusted. Shots poop and dirt in tank when you mess with it at all. I’ve had it installed for like 2-3 weeks and have had to try and fix it about 6x. I just took it out. Done wasting my time. Wish I wouldn’t have wasted my money.

Much - much quieter then the one i had before. It does make a low humming noise. The kids are okay with it. I use it in my turtle tank and they love it. They swim around it and sit on it. A-lot cheaper -To have no need to be changing filters so often.

Only had the filter for 2 weeks the filter holder broken already. Its a good filter but holder poorly made .

I was using an external polishing filter to keep my 55 gallon aquarium water clean. It would sometimes leak and make a mess on the floor. This filter circulates more gph and no worries of water leaks. It keeps the water clean and works great with no noise.

This is a good little pump. I don’t know that I would like it in something larger than my 65 gallon personally as I feel like much bigger than 65 and it wouldn’t have the same effectiveness. But for my needs it’s perfect. It’s fairly quiet and it produces a decent flow and lots of bubbles. This allows me to not have to buy a bubbler which would take up another outlet and gives my fish some water movement to play in as well as the aeration a bubbler would give. And when You’re a 12inch plus size fish I think having a nice flow of water helps! My loaches really like this filter and congregate around to play in the flow and bubbles. Very happy with the effectiveness of this pump. It’s comes apart in three sections to clean the individual sponge filters. It also has an attachment area if you wanted to add some filter medium but I don’t actually know how that portion works and since I have a another filter on the tank I don’t think it’s necessary to use. Overall good product. I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 as I do have a similar pump for my other thank and it has a better pressure in my opinion which would be good for a larger tank than I think this one would be effective in.
