Have replaced 7 so far
I bought 10 of these for extending POE IP Cameras another 200 feet beyond the 300 feet. 500 feet total. I installe them with no issue and all cameras were working fine for 3 days. Then, the first one went bad. Just died. No weather, no lightning, no known cause. I replaced it and the other two went bad 3 days after that. I guess I need to spend more than $15 to get a quality product. I know I can warranty them, but only the part is warrantied. Who is going to pay me for my time driving to my customers facility twice, replacing them, and then shipping back the defective ones. My economical solution is costing more than if I had just gone with higher quality and price ones to begin with.8/25/2020 UPDATE:The remaining 2 i had in stock worked for 1 week, then blew. I paid $75/each for some better made ones and they are holding up so far.

Does help BUT?
I hooked this up not thinking for the price it would help my 200’ cat6 Reolink Duo camera to stay connected. It absolutely helped with that issue and video quality was even improved and I was thrilled for 18 days. Then lost camera connection and come to find out this extender was dead. Not sure why it happened we did have some storms but highly unlikely that was the issue. Anyway I am giving it one more chance and ordered another one which was supposed to be here yesterday but some how it was delivered to the wrong location and most likely to never be heard from again! I will say this, if I get another one and it dies I will write a very nasty review so stay tuned!

Works for problem connection IP Cameras.
I have a Reolink 811a that kept dropping the network connection. I replaced the Reolink camera with another one and it worked fine. Reolink replaced the 811a and the new one had the same issue. Cable was NEW, solid copper about 150 feet. Reolink says the 811a should work fine up to 262 feet.Long story short.... Paid $19.00 to try a PoE Extender and the Reolink camera works fine with the Extender. Zero connection drops. So if you have a connection issue, I would suggest trying a PoE Extender. I already ordered a spare to use if I run into this issue again.NOTE: Reolink told me they would refund my money... Still waiting.

Works with a little knowledge.
At first it did not work. But after a total reboot or modem, router and computer. It is doing what is supposed to do.Havent had a drop since. I never have seen those little lights go on though.
