Awesome!
Let me say...this book was a wake up call. I experienced similar issues Julz went through and I was able to see her logic. Although I didn't agree with her decisions, it was relatable and real life! Choppa was a FOOL! I had to take a few deep breaths throughout reading this installment. He was crazy. As for Kim Marie and Pop.. Man they was loyal & it cost them their life. I couldn't stand Precious and I was sad to see how things ended for Essence. Fat-Fat was a good friend and it was sad to see how that ended for her. Overall...this book was awesome the plot was unexpected and the ending left me speechless. The 5 star rating is well deserved!

Eye Opening
This book is realistic and tell a tale about what a lot of women have been through and is still currently going through. Most people on the outside looking in would call Julz stupid for standing by Choppa with all he has put her through. However she chose to love a man enough until he learned to face his demons and love his self. But yet no matter what it doesn't justify Choppa actions towards Julz or what he had done to Pop. Fat-Fat although she may have overstepped her boundaries at times. I believe her heart was in the right place and she had a valid reason to dislike Choppa. Choppa allowed his past to haunt him and control his actions. He was his own worse enemy.

Omg where do I start. So many times I was reading and put the book down because I just couldn’t continue to look at the words before my eyes. I was disappointed, disgusting, angry, sad, and even parts where they where happy moment I just couldn’t bare because I knew it wouldn’t last long. I’m glad Choppa/Taveras changed his ways for the better. But I will forever feel some type of way about him, and I know he’s just a character.

Choppa is the Man. Bring this to Audible!
I loved this two book series but would have preferred book 2 on Audible so that I could continue the listening experience. If bringing to Audible, please ensure you hire male and female Narrators.

I was so mad reading this book
I have a love/hate type of thing for this read Julz was one of the dumbest females with all the whoopings chopper put on her she stayed firm in her love for him I had got to the point where I was like kill her! She went against her friendship and let her son see him beating her and all the excuses and blind stupid devotion to a pyshcopath who killed in the blink of an eye

Cool Read!!!
Man this book was an extreme wake-up call for what some women go through behind closed doors today.' I really loved this book, but I'm extremely upset of what Julz had to go through just to finally get her happy ending; I can understand that she had a soft heart & she was a person who tried to see good in a person no matter what, but I'm sorry there is not that much love in this world that would make me stay with a man who has tried to kill me multiple times & do anything to harm or put my child in danger. Maybe I'm being too harsh or insensitive, but seriously how much of an air head can Julz be??? I just can't understand how women would almost sacrifice so much for love... Such as losing friends/family, putting up with beatings, neglecting your child I mean the list just goes on. Believe it or not I'm happy he turned his life around, but just think about the what if's; if he didn't turn his life around she prob. could have lost her life trying to save his. I'm more upset, because Pop was so very loyal to Choppa & Julz &, because of that it resulted in him & K. Marie losing their lives. He was such a good person to him & he ultimately betrayed him. I just felt like not enough happiness in the world can change or take back the damage Choppa has done in this book, but maybe everything happens for a reason, so I guess I can't argue with the way the story ended, I just truly wished the ending could have turned out better & more happiness.'
