This book was very captivating. Found it hard to put down once I started reading it.

Amazing book…

Enjoyable. This believable story is about a small town and features several characters. Stand-alone that is easy to follow. Interesting, informative and realistic dialogue.Maddy sighed. “You’ve heard me say this before, so bear with me. Either you accept the fact that Monte’s never going to marry you and go on as you were or you break off the relationship entirely. I know you have broken up with him, but I also know you want to take him back. Don’t. Because you’ll never get what you need from him.”"You make it sound so simple,” Lindsay protested."It is simple,” Maddy countered, “but that doesn’t mean it’s easy.”I may re-read this story and always look forward to works by this author.

This is the first Debbie Macomber book that I've read and I have to say I'm hooked. Also very very pleased there seem to be so many others to try next. More authors should put a book or two on sale or free so they can get more fans. So to the book.... wonderful, well written characters, and not just the main two, but a whole town full of well rounded and detailed people that you know you want to get to know better. Debbie doesn't gloss over the problems of a struggling small community, but shows how people get past them with courage and love. The plot is not just restricted to the main love story, but has many enjoyable sub-plots. There is definitely more to this book than the average love story and I thoroughly recommend it.
