Q: how is this watch powered?

I love ❤ this watch fob! It's a quartz watch powered by batteries.

Q: Is the crystal shatterproof?

My husband wears his on the strap clip of his overalls, and farms, welds, drives equipment, etc 12+ hours a day. He has had 2 of these (first one got washed in the laundry), and the crystal is perfect. There are a few light scratches, but that is after 3 years of wearing it 7 days a week.

Q: What type of batteries does it use

It takes a silver oxide button cell battery, size SR626/377.
