FIXMYSTAND composite release levers for DEWALT dw7231 brackets

Like so many others before me, I had the deWalt bracket clamp break leaving the saw temporarily stuck halfway one, halfway off the sawhorse system. I was so happy when I looked up if there were replacements to find so many good reviews on these clamps.They were shipped immediately and I had them in just a couple days and put them on that afternoon. They work like a charm and are so much easier.Kudos to the inventor. And thank you.

These are much simpler and much sturdier than the originals. I have a DWX723. The originals have all kinds of pieces and moving parts. Both of them broke. This design is rugged. Works like a champ. If I had it to do all over I'd put these on the saw mounts on Day 1. Great upgrade.

The picture shows springs but it doesn’t come with springs so keep that in mind when you order this..Because You’re going to need the springs

I've had two pairs of these DeWalt saw bracket clips break over 8 years and couldn't bring myself to throw them away. They were very easy to install and very well made. These replacement clips are far superior the the originals in every way. I like them so much that I'm replacing the intact factory clips on my other 3 sets.

My dewalt miter saw stand in under 2 years old but the clips they came with suck and of my clips broke so I decided to buy these to solve the problem and have a nice set clips that work well. I put them on like they were supposed to and used the original leaf springs and bolts but the first time I used it, they broke both leaf sprigs rendering them useless since now the saw won't stay on the stand. I got dewalt to send me two new springs but I'm not sure I want to put these polyurethane clips on since they'll probably break my new springs too. So buyer beware they might break your springs.

These are what should be on your saw! I’m in construction and I use my saw everyday and these are so much better than the thin plastic immediately broken originals. Buy them you won’t regret it!

These appear to be 3D printed and while the plastic seems to be fairly decent quality and would likely last a long time, the holes are too large. I have a 12 inch sliding miter saw, but when I slide it forward it leans forward due to the holes having quite a bit of play in them compared to the bolt used to secure them in place. Kind of a big deal when working with longer pieces that sit flat on the extentions, but don't sit flush with the fence. You need a stable saw when working with angles and this doesn't cut it. Pun was a happy accident. Do I recommend these? No, I would not.
