Bought for my daughter and husband that have been using other weighted blankets. Daughter uses hers for a wrap up for the couch. Husband is no longer using his other weighted blanket. The other was too hot making him sweaty. The only thing I would say negative is that it takes a while for the chemical smell to fade away!

I never leave reviews, this is probably my first ever Amazon review but I LOVE LOVE LOVE this product so much that I had to write it. This blanket is simply amazing. If you were like me and in the market for a weighted blanket for a while but hadn't wanted to bite the bullet and purchase one this is more than what you get for your money. It is soft, evenly weighted, and because it isn't filled with beads there are no lumps or worries about fur babies puncturing it! I've used this for over a month now and it is holding up strong!I highly recommend this blanket for anyone who struggled with sleep and anxiety who is looking for a comfortable blanket to curl up with at night!

The weight is fantastically distributed. It’s not cozy or soft. At. All.

I LOVE this blanket! I’ve only had it for a week, but I’ve slept better every night than I ever have in my life. I’ve been having trouble sleeping through the night for years, but with this blanket I fall asleep almost immediately and sleep through the entire night.The first night I put it on top of my comforter, but it was too hot. Now I sleep with it on top of my sheet and it’s the perfect weight and temperature. So comfortable I don’t want to get out of bed in the morning.Don’t let the comments about the smell deter you- I used mine only a few hours after I took it out of the package and it really didn’t bother me at all. After a couple of days the smell was completely gone. If it does bother you, let it sit out for a day or two and you’ll be all set.Sweet dreams!

Danger-- smells like a petrochemical plant -- even after 2 weeks it still has not vaped off. Makes you wonder why? Is the cotton made from old, chemical rags? There is no reason from a manufacturing perspective that it should be so infused with petrochemicals. I bought two based on the reviews. One as a Xmas gift; one for my family. Throwing mine away and have warned my friend to do the same -- so embarrassing. I will buy her another one from a safer brand.

I have wanted one of these for a while. My friend bought one from another company, but his was nearly 300. I couldn't afford that on a blanket, so when I saw this I jumped on it. Love the blanket, it looks super clean and modern, but it's not weighted. I bought a $25 weighted blanket from a dept. retail store at 15 pounds. This "weighted blanket" that I bought from here only weighs in at about. 5 pounds. Great blanket. It's just not weighted.

The look, feel, and design of the blanket is great BUT the chemical smell makes it not worth it. after two weeks of airing it out and 2 washings… the original chemical smell decreased but not significantly enough to use it without the smell. Smells like plastic/new carpet/dry cleaning chemicals.

Bought this for the wife and she loves it. She has never been into weighted blankets before but she fell in love with it as soon as she opened it.
