Excellent guide for anyone planning on stepping up to coach youth sports, and worthwhile purchase for those looking to improve their approach and practices. Duke operates one of the best run training facilties and club programs in the northeast and Steve is, quite simply, one of the best coaches I've ever been around. Both have pro baseball playing experience, and both have an unbridled love and joy for the game. They love what they do, they love teaching what they do...and it's clear on the pages of this book that they're amongst the best at what they do.

Was a quick read but even in my 3rd season coaching I still took lots away from it.

Very straight forward and practical advice for managers, coaches and engaged parents. Even experienced coaches will pick up great tips for a well organized and effective practice. Should be required reading for all people working with youth baseball players. a no-brainier purchase.

Great for the parent who wants to coach, but not sure. You can tell these authors have a genuine love for the game and care about coaching and the players they coach.

These are concepts we take for granted. So many of these ideas and lessons can be applied to managing at work or coaching on the field.

Great ready really helped develop a great practice plan for the team!

Not much of a book only 75 pages with large print. Chapters are only a few pages. Many chapters and pages are taken up by a lot of pictures. Only helpful if you don’t have any coaching expierence. All the information is very basic and can be found online. Very disappointed with this book. Very broad and limited examples of drills and practice plans. I was considering purchasing the online training course but Seeing this product not sure I will.
