Colorimetry: Understanding the CIE System 1st Edition

This book goes well beyond the CIE system. The contributors are all well known and excellent practioners in their respective fields of interest

I was looking for a good book on color science. This is an okay choice... for the price I was expecting better. Something I think it's unacceptable is the black and white images (there is a color insert in the middle). It's a book about COLORS in black and white (it's king of funny and sad at the same time!) and being a hardback book I was expecting better quality.

This is my favorite book on colorimetry, for its depth and readability. Schanda is intimately familiar with the CIE system, and it shows. Unlike Wyszecki and Stiles, this is a book you will read, rather than refer to as needed.
