I don't actually know what material this is but it is way softer than just cotton. It has a soft baby blanket-like feel. It's very comfortable to sleep in.In my own opinion I think it would make a great maternity summer dress. It sort of fits like a maternity dress the way it hangs in the front stomach area. All and all, very happy with this nightgown!

I usually buy expensive nightgowns because inexpensive ones are either uncomfortable to sleep in or unflattering. I ordered this one because the previous ratings were pretty good but honestly didn’t expect much. To my surprise the material is soft and comfortable, the fit is perfect and it looks really nice on. I’ve never had one at this price that was so nice. If you are considering this, don’t pass it up. It’s super nice and stacks up really well with anything I’ve paid triple for.

I bought this lovely nightgown in black, in a size smaller than my usual clothing size (I'm a little smaller on top than the bottom, and didn't want to be "flashing" my family around the house). I'm glad I went one size down. On me, it hits below the knee, almost mid-calf (I'm 5'7"), and has an asymmetric hem. There's no shelf bra, but it's not too flimsy or see-through. On me, the smaller size made it well-fitted in the arm-hole, bust and neckline areas. It's not quite an a-line cut on the lower half, but figure flattering and modest without being dowdy. I really love it and will most likely buy it in another color!

The nightgown is soft and as far as I can tell there was no shrinkage when laundered. I like the length and the pleats in the front and one extra in the back that give a little extra room.

The material is nice and soft. It's a little lonf on me, but I'm 5'3". I got both colors. The best thing for me is it doesn't ride up like a short gown. I machine wash on cold, gentle, line dry. I alternate between my 2 colors. If they made more colors, I would buy at least 3 more.

I got it for maternity reasons and it definitely works but I should have gone with a M. I'm 5'5" 185 lbs at 39 weeks pregnant 165lbs pre/post pregnancy 34DDD and I got a L, it fits quite big. Still comfy though.

I have a few nightgowns from this seller so I decided to buy a “lighter” one for the summer and I’ve ordered medium for all of them and this one just looked too big and not flattering at all. Would be perfect if I were pregnant but I’m not. It’s still nice so I’m going to give it to my mother instead of returning it. (hopefully she will like it)

Love these! Can wear out as a summer dress or sleep comfortably in them. Have ordered many of them; a few maxi length with short sleeves as well as about 5 maxi length sleeveless. Also have about 3 that are knee length. of Super comfortable! Well made.

Very poor quality rayon fabric. Label says "95% rayon/5% spandex, made in China". Developed a hole in fabric after first wash (set on delicate). The only good thing was the softness. I would have given it one more star for the stitching and softness, but I can't wear it because of the holes :(

I really love this nighty. It's very comfortable, loose fitting and the fabric is soft and stretchy. I will be buying another one for sure.
