Fun activity to do with friends!
My partner and I got this so we could try out a ton of different Japanese candies and snacks, and it did not disappoint! We liked most of them, my personal favorite was this fizzy cola gum thing we got (I’m a huge fan of coca cola lol so it was awesome). These snacks are super fun, there’s lots of variety, and there’s plenty to last you if you just want to go through the snacks over time. It’s a great gift idea for anyone into Japanese culture or snacks, anime/manga fans, or just people who love snacking! Nothing was damaged or opened, everything arrived in good condition. Would recommend!

Yummy!
All the items were fresh and in perfect condition with no broken cookies, etc. It came in a cute box perfect for giftgiving, with a pamphlet describing what was inside, and all those items were in there with the exception of three but they put a disclaimer that said due to availability they may have to substitute and that was OK with me because they replaced them with something I thought was even better! I ordered the 40 count box and there were 42 in there.I loved all but four of them. My favorite were all the ones with high quality chocolate that is so much better than USA snack chocolate. It was the highlight of my day to reach into the box to try something different that I’ve never had before.! WELL WORTH THE MONEY!! 😛* Mostly sweet treats.*If someone has allergies, they have a link on the pamphlet that you can click on to see the ingredients.* my only complaint is most of the snacks were tiny but snack bags are smaller in Asian countries than in the US and treats aren’t good for me anyway! If the treats were bigger, I would just end up eating more!* I read some reviews from past years where this company sent the treats in just a plastic bag! Since that wasn’t my case, I wonder if they read the reviews and now they are making sure the food is sent in boxes now.

Do not waste your money
I recently purchased a bag of assorted Japanese candy from Amazon, and I must say, it has been a complete disappointment. To put it bluntly, what I received bears no resemblance to what was advertised. It's nothing short of a rip-off, and I feel like I've wasted my hard-earned money.I had high hopes for this purchase, as I was planning to give it to my sister as a special birthday gift. The product description and images on the Amazon listing were enticing, promising a delightful assortment of Japanese treats that would bring a smile to her face. However, what I received was far from it. The quality of the candy was subpar, and it felt like a mishmash of random, low-quality sweets that had no place in a gift.Adding to my disappointment, the variety of candies was severely lacking. It didn't come close to the diverse assortment that was advertised. Instead, it seemed like a haphazard collection of generic candies that you could find at any corner store. To make matters worse, I discovered that I can't even return this product. It's disheartening to think that I'm stuck with a bag of unappealing candy that I had hoped would make my sister's birthday special.I would strongly advise anyone considering purchasing this assortment of Japanese candy to think twice and explore other options. It's not worth the money at all, and there are undoubtedly better ways to surprise someone with a thoughtful gift.Overall, this purchase has left me deeply disappointed, and it's unfortunate that my sister won't get the delightful Japanese candy experience I had envisioned for her special day. Amazon should take a closer look at the sellers they allow on their platform to ensure customers don't fall victim to misleading product listings like this one.
