My first order of these was a nightmare as the wooden pegs weren't cut correctly but I've got to say their customer service has been amazing. They replied really quickly and offered to ship a replacement that day which they did and which arrive the following day - what great service. The replacement batch work really well, the only little niggle is that you do have to sand the inner disc and it's numbered outer part for these to rotate properly but other than that they work well and look great!

Assembly takes for ever, you’ll need sand paper to get them to work and expect half to break or not twist once assembled. Pretty poor and a waste of money.

Didn't take long to put these together. No glue required, all the parts slotted together tightly. They seem to work well.

I really wanted to love this. I picked this originally over the plastic version elsewhere because of the wooden look. In practice however, it failed in two of the most important ways which really boils down to bad dimensions of the parts. The issue is that the 3 vertical pieces that were supposed to slot everything together (without glue) are too thin/short in the important areas. First, I find that I do need glue to hold all the pieces together otherwise it will come apart. If you looked at the assembled pieces in top view, you can see that there are spaces in the 3 slots when the vertical pieces are slotted in. Without glue, there is not enough tension for the slotted pieces to hold everything together. If you pick up the stand, there is at least one vertical piece that will fall out. If you want to hold everything together without glue, you need to at least increase the length (see side view of the vertical piece where the red line is) so that it will extend to the hexagon piece and hold the bottom two parts in. With glue, I at least solve that issue. Then came the 2nd issue, there is not enough width to the upper portion of the vertical pieces (see top view where red line is) to decrease the spacing between the vertical pieces which resulted in the Monster pics and tokens fitting loosely. As you pick up the stand, the monster pic will fall out easily. In the end, it turns out to be more hassle than expected. If they can adjust the dimensions of the pieces better, I think this would be a great product to have. As for the version that I bought and tested, it is just bad and not worth the money. Sadly my sister agreed with me also.

Most of mine broke when assembling due to a poor cut. They sent me more so it’s all good. Most will be too tight or too loose but I was able to get enough to play with and they are a great addition to the game. If you play a lot I would say it’s worth the price to just not use the damage tokens. It really speeds the game up and makes it easier to see how much health each monster has just by looking at the board.
