Good book for kids, adults and coaches
My 8 year old son started learning football at a club and he was excited about knowing more than what the coach on the field coukd offer. This book is a catchy, attractive way to let children or adults try out new moves, understand rules and naunces of the game to improve their skills. It is an expensive book but it is quite comprehensive and a handy go-to reference for any doubts.

Excellent handbook
What they cannot do technically, they cannot do tactically. This book covers all the basic skills, step-by-step with color photos. The size is perfect and pages laminated so you can take it to the field and chuck it around without worry. You wouldn't try to learn math without a textbook; this is the soccer equivalent. It is the one book that never comes out of my coaching bag.

One Big Omission. Not one Picture of a female.
Very good book which covers pretty much everything. I big failing is that it has no photo’s of girls or women. I would have thought that with the huge growth in womens soccer, Worldwide, and the success of the England womens team. That is a glaring mistake. My niece who I bought it for was not best pleased.

Outdated
This book is completely outdated at least 20 + years old ( proof being it contains pictures of a 20 year old Rio Ferdinand ) this is a present for my 6-year old nephew so he won't know the difference, but I was expecting more modern skills and techniques as the game has advanced a lot in 20-years. Avoid and spend your money on something more up to date

Good choice
Excellent book for my 8 year-old Great Nephew. He is soccer mad and trying to find a suitable birthday present can be a nightmare. However, this easy to read book is helping with his reading skills as well as soccer skills.
