REDCAMP0.9L Small Outdoor Camping Kettle, Aluminum Water Pot with Carrying Bag, Compact Lightweight Tea Kettle

I used this only twice, over a low-medium campfire and on a heavy state park campsite firering grill (and the listing photo shows it on a campfire grill), and the coating on the handle melted halfway off. The listing says Redcamp has a 365-day warranty, but the Redcamp store has no contact link. Very frustrating and disappointing.UPDATE: the merchant, Freeland, promptly issued a refund despite my problem arising two weeks past the return deadline. So while the pot was a problem, the customer service was A+++

I absolutely loved this kettle. I was very careful after reading some reviews where the handle melted and I was diligent about keeping the handle in the upright position and over small flames. I used this kettle for 3 camping trips and it was absolutely perfect until today, when I discovered not only the handle had melted, but also the lid.I’m so disappointed. Keep looking; there’s better camping kettles out there.

We used it when we went camping earlier this month. It's very sturdy and comes with a carrying bag. It doesn't whistle when it's done; that would have been a nice feature. The lid needs to be removed before the water is poured out; a good idea would would have been to make it lock in place. If the water was a little too high when ready to pour, the water spilled out the top; I didn't know that would be an issue when I went to pour the water out and some of our stuff ended up getting wet. It has a nice handle though and it's the right size for our camping stove.

This is a great little kettle to use while camping and backpacking. Very impressed with the quality for such a great price. Used it several times on a camping trip last weekend and it works great. Gave it 4 stars because I wish it had measuring lines on the side, which would be helpful for making freeze dried foods while backpacking

I was concerned because the top was plastic, I’m very impressed with how this kettle is made. It’s very similar to the one that is double in price made by a company that also makes high end camping stoves. I love it and don’t let the small size fool you, it will make enough water for two large mugs with water left over. Because it’s wider it will be more stable on the canister stove like an MSR Pocket Rocket or a Soto Amicus. I would not put this into a fire. You could definitely just use this if all you need to do is boil water for camping. Highly recommend this product.
