The Pro XE gives fast readouts and is easy to use. The distance measurements repeat consistently. It picks up the flag stick almost every time. Occasionally it will miss the stick and give a reading from some other object, but this is easily recognized and remedied with another quick scan. My only negative comment is a minor one-I wish it were a bit easier to wiggle it out of the case. It takes some finagling to extract it. I don’t trust the magnetic attachment even though the magnet is quite strong. One big bump might make it drop off and is too risky for such an expensive item. All in all, i really like it and can recommend it.

It is expensive but it is worth it. Best range finder I have used. Locks on very quickly, even without the flag reflectors. Distance is dead on accurate. Overall the device is very solid feeling. Switch to change modes is only part that feels less than perfect as it is plastic, but it works great. Magnetic mount feature is great. No more after market sleeves to deal with, and the padding on the mount is durable. A+++.

I thought the rangefinder did a great job with brightness against the sun. The readings were very accurate and the visual on the pin lock was an awesome addition. However, the diopter on the one sent to me was very hard to turn. I could not adjust the focus with just one hand. I had to grip it and turn with my whole hand and wrist. It did not get better after playing with it over a few days.

Everyone comes to a point in their golfing career where they wanna do more than hang out with friends. This has shaved at least 5 strokes off my round. It hells me mentally prepare for every shot taken. I also bring it to the range to help dial in my distances

Real quality range finder with slope. Real durable and alot nicer than the hybrid by Bushnell. Has a cool magnet on one side that you can stick to the golf cart. Comes with a bushnell app you can get yardage to hazards, flyover of the hole, and track and submit scores for handicaps.

I bought this as a gift for my husband. He loves it, and says he’s glad he has it. He said it performs very well.

After using a Leupold GX-4i2 for the past several years, I wanted to try out Bushnell’s new unit and have not been disappointed. Was a little concerned reading other reviews but they must have been early production units because I absolutely love this thing. The OLED display is crisp (can’t beat the red display) and the readings come back instantaneously. I like the stiffer diopter as it prevents it from being moved when I put the unit in my bag or pocket.

In the past I owned a Leupold GX4i, while it worked great, target acquisition was sometimes slow, this forced me to use my Skycaddie 500 as my primary course distance device. Today I used the Pro XE and loved it, view was clear and target acquisition was quick. Loved the elements feature, it definitely contributed to hitting more GIRs. Used both devices and loved using them together. The Pro XE will definitely be my primary device with the SGX 500 to provide additional info on new courses.
