Works great
Been using this for a few years now. Works great. I no longer have to treat my animals, just the yard. Haven’t had any issues with fleas or ticks n it does help keeping pesky flying bugs away from humans too

Great product. Limited effectiveness.
The product is good, but you better move once it starts spraying. The bottle empties quickly. When the product is applied, it works very well, but seems to wear off quickly.

Worked like magic in my yard!!
This was my first time using this product. I have almost an acre of property and the back yard is more than half of it. I had to take my puppy to the ER a few months ago because he had a bad case of constant diarrhea. Even though that was unfortunate, the ER vet was amazing and gave me all kind of tips for keeping my puppy/dog healthy. She, having seen the bad side of medications, did not recommend that I give my dog a pill for fleas and ticks; she said it’s much safer to either put a flea & tick collar on him, or to have my yard sprayed with something natural and non-toxic to dogs.Having a friend that worked for a pest control company, he told me he could give me a great deal on his company’s pest control plan (like $400 for the year), but he said if it was his yard, he would buy something at Home Depot and do it himself, as it’s the same stuff and would be much cheeper to DIY. With that in mind, I looked at the stuff from Home Depot and then came to Amazon, as I always, do to compare. When I found this one it seemed good but I was leery after reading some of the negative reviews that said it didn’t work.I figured for $10 why not try it out. That being said, the day before spraying it, I was in my yard and the flies and mosquitos where just starting to take flight all around. It was awful. The next day (after reading the forecast to make sure it was not going to rain for a few days), I waited until just before dusk to spray it (so my puppy had gotten all his wiggles out in the yard already). The 1 bottle pretty much covered my whole back yard (probably about a little more than half an acre). I loved the smell and had no reaction to it. The next day I took my puppy out in the yard and everyone noticed the mosquitos were gone!!! Totally gone, not one!! Nor any flies!!! The bees were still flying around unaffected—phew, and my puppy had no reaction to walking around on the treated grass (mind you it was about 16 hours later when he stepped foot in the back where I treated the ground). The plants and bushes where fine and the wild rabbits seemed fine too.Furthermore, prior to me spraying, my dog brought in 2 ticks (that we know of), but since I spraying—about 2 weeks ago, there have been no tick sightings.I’m not sure why this worked so well for my yard and yet has been no good for some people. I live in the North East of America and half of our yard is wooded. For the price, if you are not sure that it’s going to work, I’d say it’s worth a try.For me I’ve decided while it lasts 3 weeks I’ll probably treat my yard twice per month for easier remembering when to do it.

Not very effective after the first day
I've never had an issue with fleas, because I bathe my dogs once a week. However, in the spring of this year, my yard had a really had infestation of fleas. We have a lot of loose animals in our neighborhood, so I'm guessing that's where the fleas came from.I used two bottles of this on my yard. I did one bottle and another bottle 7 days later. I did not notice any difference. My dogs were still covered in fleas.

Don’t hesitate to buy!
This product is a staple for us. We have 3 small dogs and live in the south where we don’t get enough cold weather to eliminate the flea population. Even though our dogs take oral flea medication, we inevitably find a flea or two on them because the oral meds kill the fleas after they bite the dog. So they start itching. One of the dogs is allergic to flea saliva, so he goes crazy itching.Once I found this spray, it made life so much better. It is easily applied by hooking the bottle to the garden hose. It’s all natural and doesn’t contain poison.Since we have started using this every spring, we rarely see a flea. My neighbor has two dogs and they don’t treat their dogs or their yard for fleas. So that’s what we’re up against. We spray heavily on the fence area on that side of the yard.As long as I have dogs, I will never not have this product.

Very Disappointed...
I can't recall ever giving a product one star. However, there are no redeeming qualities to this very disappointing insecticide, it seems to invite the insects it is suppose to eliminate. As one who worked in pest control for several years, and a pet owner. I understand how important it is to keep aggressive chemicals to a minimum. I was pleased when I read the ratings for Vet's Best, the product is organic based and it seemed to have everything you'd want to control small insects in your yard. Not related to the performance, but nonetheless important... the product was originally damaged in shipping, it wasn't until I went thru the AI Bot and talked (by way of a chat session) with a live service rep. from Amazon Prime that a replacement was provided. The replacement arrived three days late from when the original delivery date. Regardless, I was willing to overlook the shipping, provided the product lived up to it's thousands of positive ratings, but it did not. I followed the instructions, applied the spray to my entire lawn and garden where we have minor problems with ants and mosquitos. The first day I hoped for a reduction, the second day further reduction, by day three I expected to see no ants, or most importantly, mosquitos. Instead, you could see mosquitos flying everywhere, far more than there had ever been. When I went to feed the cat, ants were literally going into the feed bowls within a few minutes. We are now on day 4 and although there are not as many mosquitos as there were on day three, there are more than when I first used the product. Perhaps they changed their formula from the time when some of the other more favorable reviews were created, but I can say in all honesty, the product did nothing for the ants and mosquitos in my yard.
