I wanted to upgrade the oem radio/navigation unit in my seven year old car to something more modern and having researched for a while found that Atoto had a reputation for producing good quality products at a reasonable price with good customer support if you needed it. I found it easy enough to install after emailing support several times for advice on connecting leads I would need etc. I was getting replies within 24 hours from a customer support agent called Lavender whose advice was very helpful. Having used it for a couple of weeks now I can't fault it so far. The qled screen is bright and clear which makes GPS navigation much easier. Sound quality is much improved too. Mostly I stream Amazon music which sounds great and gives me access to the usual Alexa voice commands with no extra equipment needed. (Edit: Now I've got android auto set up I haven't found a way to use Alexa voice commands. It only works using Amazon music loaded on the S8 without AA) So far I'm very pleased with the unit and have no regrets about buying it.

I'm very impressed with this head unit; I've used Android head units in the past from other manufacturers and this Atoto unit blows them away. The head unit is fast, feature rich and expandable; as it's an Android unit, you can use apps from the Google play store, or other APKs you want. Installation: Installed into a Honda Cr-Z. This was generally easy but somewhat time consuming for me; I ordered the wrong adapter harness for my car as I had a factory amplifier installed so had to spend some time crimping / soldering connectors to make it work. Make note, if you have a factory amplifier in your car you need the "amplified" version of your car's harness which has RCA connectors on it to connect to the head unit pre-outs (otherwise the audio signal with be amplified by the head unit as well causing static noise). Features: - Fast. This unit is very responsive, apps load quickly and navigating through menus is seamless. - It just works. Everything in my car works with the correct adapters / wiring. The steering wheel controls are mappable in the head unit so you can even change what they do by default, useful. - It's Android, you can install / use pretty much whatever app you want on your head unit. Would I buy this unit again? Yes, yes I would.

The unit worked for around 9 months then started to freeze out. Tried removing the fuse and the harness for a hard reset to no effect. It's expensive for what it is. My advice is buy a trusted brand.

I replaced the awful Highline stereo in my Smart with one of these in October last year. I had to modify the plastic encloser and double din faceplate a bit with a dremel to make it all fit, also a few pins in the wiring had to be moved to match the smart (which uses a standard connector but with a slightly different pin layout). I really only use this with android auto so can't advise on it's stand alone radio or satnav experience but when you bluetooth to your phone it's very good! I recommend getting the infra red steering wheel media control to go with it. There is an annoying bug that comes up once in a while where Android Auto gets stuck trying to connect and you'll need to unpair your phone from Bluetooth 1 and pair it again to fix this. I've had this happen about 3 times since installing so it's definitely not a perfect upgrade it is so much better than the highline. be prepared for a bit of a faff to get it installed properly, research what adapters and face plates you need etc. Sound quality is generally quite good, bluetooth connection is fairly strong but not perfect (typical bluetooth experience imo). In general I really like it for music and navigation, it's not perfect and didn't quiiiite manage to be a simple drop in upgrade for my particular car but at this price point I can live with that

I bought my S8 Premium 7 months ago and was pleased with the product until the screen cracked spontaneously whilst the vehicle was stationary and the radio off. A crack started from the top edge and spread across the screen, losing the ability to control the radio. Absolutely no response from ATOTO Customer Support. Know that if you buy. it looks as if you are on your own.

Very nice head unit, screen is well visible in bright sunshine. Use mine as discrete way of adding extra gauges to my modified car using Realdash app and for satnav etc. Easy to install and highly configurable

I bought this and the rear view camera to fit in my Vivaro van. I found i needed to buy the connect2 vauxhall wiring kit which was another 80 quid but made it easy to fit and all works great. i already had a cheap bluetooth obd2 reader which connected to this first go so now can read any fault codes and see revs, speed, coolant temp etc in real time. FM radio found all my favourite stations and sounds good. Wireless Android auto is very handy too. i would highly recommend it.

Easy to install, if you can find the correct fascia kit for your vehicle. Sound quality is good. Easy and intuitive to use. Can't really fault the unit at the price. I marked the overall score down as the first unit I received was clearly a returned item. It had fingerprints on the screen, wasn't packaged correctly and had bits missing. I've since read that I'm not the first person this has happened to. The replacement item is the item reviewed.

Perfecto en mi Alfa Romeo 147, dejó mi auto mucho más limpio y con todo lo que un auto moderno tiene para ofrecer. Es una radio super completa con todo lo que puede ofrecer un android, todas las aplicaciones corren muy bien y tiene la gran ventaja de ser compatible con Android auto y apple carplay. La instalación fue bastante sencilla, pero en mi caso fue necesario comprar un enchufe canbus específico para mi coche, También tuve la necesidad de hacer un marco para la radio personalizada porque lo que venía no encajaba bien(no quedo perfecto, pero visualmente esta mucho mejor que el borde negro). Cabe tambien destacar la calidad del sonido que es muy buena.

had this unit for a few years now. Works great. wireless android auto. Keep a paper clip in the console, to poke into the reset hole from time to time. only takes a minute to reboot, then off we go again.

Funzione impostazioni vettura nel display superiore originale della Mokka prima versione >2012 tramite i comandi al volante.. Funzionano bene i sensori di parcheggio, porte, allarmi luci, ecc.. (audio nel mini altoparlante dell'interfaccia canbus), posizionarlo in un buon posto. La radio Android è veloce e facile da usare, la risposta del menu è molto veloce! Il GPS ha una buona precisione, il WiFi è buono, Bluetooth 1 e 2 funzionano bene, micro sd funziona bene, USB 1 e 2 leggono bene le periferiche, il microfono integrato è buono, il microfono esterno è buono (utile per furgoni o camion) Sono molto soddisfatto perché ora è come avessi una macchina nuova. Adattabile al posto di tante scarse radio originali, con l'interfaccia canbus connects2 (necessaria). Assistenza Atoto di buon livello, in max 48 ore mi hanno risposto con buoni consigli! This unit worked perfectly on my 2012 Toyota Auris. I had to also purchase the ATOTO Toyota wiring harness and mounting bracket kit which made the installation a breeze. The factory rear camera requires a separate adapter but otherwise I am very satisfied with the product.
