Elvis '68 Comeback: The Story Behind the Special

Wonderful book on the 1968 Comeback Special.

This book I wanted and got for Xmas. It is what's called a coffee table size book.Has the story of Elvis comeback 1968 TV special.I have not read it all yet. So far great book, stories, pictures.

It was put together very nice. I love the book. Beautiful pictures in the book nice quantity.

GREAT VERY VERY HAPPY

What are fascinating account, as told by the shows director, Steve binder. As I'm writing this review I have only gotten up to chapter 6 but I am totally drawn into The behind the scenes workings of how the special came together and how it transformed to one of the most pivotal points in Presley's career. Included are wonderful Detailed notes on the production and photos and sketches which I have never seen before. I think the most amazing thing about this book is not only the modest price of only $20, But the quality and presentation is top notch. A must have for any fan or anyone wanting to learn more about the iconic 1968 comeback special. The only thing so far I found that is a flaw Is a full page photo Of what the author claims are albums he bought of Elvis' to prepare him for the show. Included in the photo are the albums moody blue and from Elvis Presley boulevard Memphis Tennessee, Obviously recorded well after the 1968 special aired. An honest mistake I could see after so many years some memories do tend to become blurred... All this aside, I give this book my highest rating and recommend this book to anyone Serious about learning more Regarding This special... A must have!!!

This book is a must have written by the man who was there Steve Binder the producer of the comeback special.A very well written book I'm pleased I purchased this product a book fit for the king full of lovely photographs and interesting text about the behind the scenes and the communication between the people involved with show all in all a fascinating read I would highly recommend this book whether your an Elvis fan of not
