Perfect shoes for swollen feet! Great fit, easy to use, very sturdy & comfortable.
I clicked "fit as expected" but I was actually expecting them to be too small since I was pretty sure I'd ordered the wrong size -- partly because the sizing charts (the sellers & Amazon's) gave very different & confusing info. But also because my dad's old shoes were in a couple different sizes (I bought these for him). So I waited for them to arrive, assuming I'd have to return them. It turns out they fit him absolutely perfectly! My dad (87) has serious edema of his legs & feet, due to a number of different health issues & it's an on-going task to keep the swelling down. I wanted to find him something that was very easy to put on or take off, that could be adjusted to fit more loosely when needed but that wouldn't slip or fall off when he was walking, & that were comfortable for him. These shoes nicely meet ALL of those requirements! Not an easy task. The order arrived even earlier than expected, which was another great plus. I will purchase items from Secret Slippers without hesitation in the future!Although they call these slippers, the soles are very thick & sturdy enough to be used outdoors. In fact they seemed a bit heavy when I picked them up but he says they're very easy to walk in & not too weighty. He walks with difficulty using a walker so that really matters. They seem very well-made.

If quality is what you are looking for - you will find it here!
This is an excellent open-toed slipper. Its solid heel prevents it from sliding off your foot. The Velcro straps offer lots of adjustment to secure a snug fit. I wear them all the time now and feel they are well worth their price.

Took longer than I thought it would . I ordered on Dec 3 rd. and rec'd after Christmas. I had bought another brand and was going to return them . This pair of shoes are well made and fit great and feel great. I will not be returning and he will be using them all the time. I returned the other pair of slippers.

Great for surgery recover!
I am a size 9.5-10 Women's (ordered a size 8 in this men's shoe and it fits just right!)I am a 40-something woman who recently had foot surgery and cannot push my sore toes into a regular shoe, no matter how much I loosen it. I needed something that opened up and closed over my foot. It's surprisingly hard to find a shoe with open toes and heel support that you don't need to "slide" into. These open completely and can be tightened or loosened quite a bit. Here are some pros & cons:CONS:- The price! Holy moly! 50 bucks for what is basically a slipper.- The support & cushioning. There isn't much. The rubber sole is what I would call a "medium" thickness. Not as thin as a slipper, but not really supportive. There is also very little cushioning inside. For me, they hurt more when I walk on a hard surface floor than on carpet.- Not really attractive. Especially for a lady like me, but hey. It's a men's shoe, after all. Comfort is more important right now. :)PROS:- Open toe! I love that the toe is open. My toe is screaming with pain after surgery and cramming it into a regular shoe is just not possible yet. I needed something between the surgery boot and my normal shoe. This works great!- Top opens completely so I can slip my foot into it with no pressure. I can fold the velcro over as tight or loose as I want it to be!- The velcro is good and sturdy. It's almost too hard to pull open for me!- My prescribed shoe inserts fit perfectly inside this shoe.I highly recommend this shoe if you have foot pain and need something easy to slip into and open-toed. It's a great "transition" shoe after surgery. Just wish it was cheaper!
