Appropriately manufactured - holding up to daily use.
I was initially hesitant to purchase this cog as I had read other reviewers mentioning the poor machining of the component. Nevertheless, I decided to purchase a 14T cog to run a 41/14 setup.The item arrived without evidence of significant quality defects. The machining is fair, and the cog appears to be effectively taking the loads applied to it with on my daily commute. I cannot comment on the integrity or machining of the lockring as I used my existing one. I did attempt to place the lockring on just to see if it would fit - I encountered some difficulty, which I cannot definitively prove to be due to the manufacturing of the ring (I did not have sufficient grease to lubricate the threading at the time). Lockring aside, I've put about 40 miles on the cog as of this review - if any significant failure of the component occurs, I will most definitely update this review.The cog does its job well for a price that cannot be beaten. I'll most definitely consider purchasing another one of these cogs again should the need to upgrade gear ratio arise.

Lock ring doesn’t match the sprocket.
As the other reviews have mentioned - sprocket fits fine (though it’s slightly lopsided and the quality is poor) but the lock ring is too small for the hub.

This is not a common part, the teeth are too wide for a regular chain and the lock ring and gear I got were different threads. I was able to thread the gear onto my surly hub but still not able to use

Absolute garbage!
Do you like skidding? Do you like your lockring to say tight? Do you like riding brakeless?If you answered yes to any of these questions then this product is not for you!I was building a new bike on a tight budget and thought this product would be a good idea. However, I was wrong. I cannot get this cog/lockring combo to stay put! every time I've ridden the bike since installing this product I have needed to tighten my lockring or even bring the wrench with me to be able to enjoy riding my bike. It does work sometimes, and it feels fine when it does, but its a matter of time...
