If you are an aficionado of Wabori, this book is likely nothing new to you already know quite a bit of details.For the money, it is still worth having in your collection.Brief descriptions of the history of tattooing as well as the motifs will not be fulfilling to you if you are looking for in depth information.Perhaps the most unique content is a description of hair styling in the different time periods. I had never thought about that before and it becomes interesting when re-examining some of the old Ukiyo-e prints.There are certainly more in depth books on the subject matter, but not many at this particular price point.

This book is underwhelming in both the motifs and the explanation of them. Also there was a page that was randomly written in French for some reason (wtf)
