Best one ever!
This thing is great! We have had it for two years now and use it occasionally. We have made rice, steamed veggies, soup, pork chops, and whole chicken. The cooker is easy to use and setup. The removable aluminum pot is coated with a non-stick material. It worked well for the first year, but now the coating is coming off and we can't use it unless we use crock pot liner. I found a replacement on the website. Model number to search is Delonghi CMK1641D and your looking for a GH1004 TANK. The price is around 80$ with shipping.Update 8-26-2022 - The replacement pot is still on backorder. Apparently they have enough for production but won't send any out as replacements. There is "No ETA" from factory on the delivery.Upate 8-31-2022 - I canceled the order for the pot. It appears it is on indefinite backorder. The cost was almost half the cost of the unit. It's not really worth it to replace the pot. Had to take a star off for not providing replacements pots on Amazon at a reasonable price.

A Multifunctional Disaster!
UPDATE (March 25/2022): I bought the Instant Pot Aura multicooker from Amazon Canada--it's an oval-shaped multicooker by the Instant Pot brand. I LOVE IT!! I've steamed salmon in it and slow-cooked a beef stew to perfection. The Instant Pot multicooker is so great that I'm buying a 2nd one. **And it's under $100 for a slowcooker that WORKS!!** Save your money and sanity and buy the Instant Pot Aura. [And no, I don't work for the Instant Pot company; I'm just really impressed with the multicooker of theirs!]I bought this multicooker from Amazon Canada in May 2020. So I've had 1.5 years to try out all the functions. After I unpacked it, I handwashed the insert & plugged the unit in. The blue light is REALLY BRIGHT and it beeps loudly to tell you it's plugged in, even though the display hadn't been set to any mode yet. So after that 1st try, every single time I'd finished making anything with it, I'd unplug the unit. A couple of reviewers had said that the Slow Cooker LOW setting didn't work. They are correct! I discovered that this LOW equals "Keep Warm" and the MEDIUM setting--which I've never had on any other of my slow cookers!--is really LOW. The HIGH setting is only slightly hotter than MEDIUM, so I used it 1x and never after that. My last meal in this unit was a recent Chanukah brisket (beef) on November 28. The Smitten Kitchen recipe was for a(n) 8-10 pound brisket in a slow cooker on LOW for 10 hours. Well, I had a (boneless) piece of beef brisket that was only 6 pounds. I cooked it on MEDIUM in this useless machine for the 10 hours overnight, and then it was on "Keep Warm" for 4 hours. Well the meat came out pink overall, and the centre portion was still bloody! It's not as if I'd overfilled the machine, either. I can't believe how many reviewers think this is a great slow cooker and multicooker. As for the oven feature, I can tell you that preheating my full-sized oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit takes less time than the preheating on this DeLonghi. On average, it takes over 15 minutes to bring the cooker to 400 degrees F, in a machine that is MUCH SMALLER than my full-sized oven. It's a real shame that Ninja has stopped making their oval-shaped multicookers. I used my Ninja for 5 years without any problems until I decided to try to roast a chicken for longer than it needed & I didn't monitor it! That was my BIG MISTAKE, and I've regretted that I can't buy a replacement Ninja multicooker since that day. Unless you plan to add on at least 1.5x the time to any slow cooker recipe, do not waste your money on this cooker. It's an expensive disappointment! I'm giving it 1 star for appearance only!

I love this cooker!!
I needed a new slow cooker, my old one boiled everything, even on low! So I looked for one that had a better thermostat and was willing to pay more than a typical slow cooker costs. In my search I discovered the DeLonghi multi cooker. Let me tell you, this has become my go-to three or four nights a week! Not only does it have a THREE temperature (low, med, high) slow cooker, but you can sauté the meat or vegetables right in the pot. Plus there are roast and steam settings. The controls are easy to use with digital readings. The pot is easy to clean and the whole unit looks beautiful on my counter! I highly recommend this cooker.
