These corn slitters (I ordered 4, so as to have gifts) fully meet my expectations. They certainly conform to my memories of the one used in my household when I was knee-high to a grasshopper.To have found them, which somehow I think only Amazon could have managed, was GREAT!

Works great, it leaves the corn husks behind, and you get all of the middle.
