These cameras come with a 30-day trial of the cloud so you get a custom to using that and understanding how it works. I knew we were going to keep the subscription to the cloud so within a week I plugged in a USB drive. Do you think the camera recorded to that? No it didn't even give us an option to record to the USB drive it continued to record to the cloud till the end of the 30 day. Only at the end of the 30 day did we discover that it takes forever to retrieve clips from the USB drive when you're out so it is extremely difficult to continue to record anything or to live view situations that might need to be recorded. You have to download all clips from the cloud to your phone in order to be transferred somewhere else there's no ability to use your laptop or any other device to quickly download all the clips that are needed. I lost valuable information because I don't have room on my phone to download all of these clips hours and hours of inappropriate and illegal action. Now that I see how the cameras work the window for return is closed and I'm stuck with $500 worth of cameras that don't work any better than the Walmart cameras I could have bought for under $200. Every time it rains the cameras get set off anytime it is humid or rainy or moisture changes in the air the cameras get cloudy you can't see anything that's being recorded there's a big blob in the middle of the screen. They're not weatherproof because you have to build some sort of covering or casing for them in order to be able to see what's recorded when the weather isn't perfectly sunny. Had I known this I would have stuck with the Walmart brand

I was afraid that someone could just pull the camera off the original mount. These mounts make it much more difficult. I may put a drop of Blue Loctite on the threads to make it very difficult to unthread.In addition, these cases give the cameras greater weather proofing. I checked the original black cameras with a temperature gun in the Arizona sun and the white mounts were 10 degrees cooler! I am very satisfied and will order a second set for another set of cameras. Inexpensive insurance.

I am new to Blink camers and I ordered 5. Since the mounts that come with them have limited range, I order a 3 pack and the wall adaptor. They work perfect for me. The outlet hanger can be hidden and placed anywhere which is a bonus. As far as the mounts are concerned, I was able to mount some camers on a tree as well as under and eave. With the swivel, I was angle the cameras exactly where I wanted them. I only gave a 4 due to the piece that snaps in to hold the camers. I feel that is the weak link. I think it could have been made a little more secure, but thats my opinion.

I have three cameras using these holders. For the most part they work well and are basically easy to install. The only problem is the USB cable flap on the camera is inaccessible. They provided a slot for the cable to hang out giving the holder a cable tail. This made the installation a little more difficult because the bezel was difficult to replace in a required recessed manner. I did not rate the waterproof, because they are all installed under eaves or on a covered porch. The main reason I purchased these was for a better range of motion and a more secure connection to the base.
