National Geographic Maps Britain And Ireland Flat Map: Wall Countries & Regions

Two maps for the price of one.
One side is the World in 1922, quite an eye opener for colonisation by Western countries.Other side is contemporary so you get a good sense of how the world has changed since 1922 by flipping it over.Paper used is on the thin side so wearability could be an issue. No creases as is rolled in a tube, but flattens out nicely rested on a table for a few hours.SIZE! Bigger than I expected from the misleading so called dimensions given in the Product Description. The Map is 30" x 46" wide unfurled, as detailed on the NG plastic tube it is packed in. That is surely what people want to know, not that the plastic tube is 84 cm! The other two dimensions given who knows! The tube is 5cm diameter.

Great map but didn't arrive in the ideal condition
I loved the content of the map, but as soon as I open the package, this is what I saw (see attached photo), which is disspointing since it is a new product and you will display it in your wall

It covers everything.
I bought this for my 7 year old for Christmas. He loves maps and knowing where things are, and this was for his bedroom wall, with a set of sticky dot stickers to mark places he has visited. I particularly like that rivers, lakes and mountain ranges are marked on as well as towns, cities and roads. It means that he can visualise the views he has had from the car window on the way past e.g. the Lake District.

beautiful NG map with lots of detail
Just as described, beautiful NG map with lots of detail. This map is pretty thin paper, so needs some care when hanging or using. Would be great in a frame or mounted on a board ( I do not like the laminated versions as they are too reflective, but they are sturdy)

Very detailed map. No key for the different circles for cities. Difficult to read but this should be expected if you are looking for a map with much more place names than usual.
