Fantastic product!
Sturdy and Practical Harness for Blind Dogs!I recently purchased this harness for my blind dog from Amazon, and I couldn't be happier with it! Having tried other products in the past that were neither sturdy nor practical, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this harness.First and foremost, the durability of this harness is outstanding. It's constructed with high-quality materials that feel strong and reliable. I feel confident knowing that it can withstand daily wear and tear without compromising my dog's safety.Secondly, the practical design of this harness is a game-changer. The adjustable straps make it easy to achieve a comfortable and secure fit for my furry friend. Plus, the added features such as reflective strips provide extra visibility, which is crucial for a blind dog like mine.Overall, I highly recommend this harness to fellow pet owners with blind dogs. It's not only sturdy and practical but also offers peace of mind knowing that your beloved companion is well-protected during walks. Don't hesitate to invest in this fantastic product!

Does it’s job
This is working out great so far. I feel like my blind Boston is more confident walking around. My only complaint, I wish the head ring was adjustable. It’s a little big for my Boston but working!

Works great
I purchased this for my 10 year old Frenchie who unexpectedly went blind over a 4 week period. Because it was so sudden she was frightened and would barely walk around the house. I purchased this harness and it helped build her confidence tremendously. She bumped her way around the house, up and down stairs and in the yard. She learned her way around by feel (my husband calls her Roomba lol). After 3 months she was comfortable enough to no longer need to harness. We have it ready to go if she every needs it but for now she's doing well.(BTW the vet gave us the tip to always leave her food/water bowls in the same spot and use them as a touchstone if she gets disoriented. When she got "lost" in the house we carried her back to her food bowl and she would be good again)

Nice concept but did not work for my dog
My dog recently went completely blind due to SARDS. He's having a tough time navigating his surroundings and the poor pup is knocking his head into everything. I researched the halo collar and found it to be way overpriced. This item was very reasonably priced so I wanted to give it a shot. When I put it on my dog he immediately wanted out. He kept sticking his head over and under it and still finding ways to knock his head on everything. I also found the halo part to be too rigid. He likes to wedge himself into tight spaces and this collar made it very difficult to get out of those spaces. I found him stuck under a dining room chair. I also had a problem with the harness coming loose. It just doesn't lock in tightly causing the halo to to become misaligned. If you have a blind dog I would still recommend that you try this because it is a good option for some dogs, it's just not a good option for mine.

Flimsy, Akwardly Shaped, Ineffective Design
We purchased this for our senior pug who had recently gone completely blind due to a brain tumor. When we received this halo to help him not smack his little bobblehead into any and every surface, we had hopes of it at least helping somewhat. Anything was better than him walking straight smack into a wall, the corner of a table, etc.But when we opened the packaging and pulled it out, we were already concerned about the quality and stability of it.The hoop was heavy and unbalanced the entire halo. When we attached it to our pug, we noticed the nylon webbing was rough and scratchy, where it would rest against him. For his short, cobby little body, the entire halo sat so crooked that it pointed more at the floor than anywhere near eye-level.We fiddled with it, trying to bend it so that it sat higher and would deflect anything he bumped into, but that only shifted the harness on him, which made the nylon jab into him. He was so incredibly patient throughout the process, even though we were frustrated. We ended up checking it back into the box and marking it a a failure, simply due to the design. It's too top-heavy, with a rigid wire inside the hoop, and the sharp nylon was just another minus for us. The whole item felt low quality, ridiculously cheap and slapped together. So back to an Amazon Returns graveyard it went! We ended up purchasing a fleece pilot's hat that was comfy, had just enough cushion, and was 1/3 of the price.

LIFE SAVING DEVICE.
This anti collision hoop is life changing. I get emotional every time I put it on my dog. Confidence is the Most important and Fragile apsect to disabled dogs, especially when blind. I'm just blown away at how well this thing functions in every application. A MUST for blind dogs period. I cannot thank this company enough for saving my dogs life. I literally watched him start to give up moving and just stand stationary, to slowly gain confidence and start ripping around again! I could never that this company enough.

flimsy fabric which rips within 2 months of use
The halo part is a good design--wire with foam covering it. Unfortunately the foam is cheap and splits and tears within 2 months of use. WE covered the split/ripped apart foam with electrical tape. Also the fabric to which the neck and chest buckles are attached, rips within 1 month of use and I had had to sew it repeatedly trying to find a way to keep it useful. My dog is only 6 lbs. Imagine how fast it would tear and fall apart with a medium or larger sized dog.I bought 2 of these--same problem with both. Unless you want to buy this product every other month for the life of your dog, do NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT.
